This review is from: ASUS Xonar DG 5.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz PCI Interface Sound Card
Pros: Sounds great. Has enough power for my AKG headphones. Definitely an upgrade over on-board. Software works well and is lightweight.
Cons: Mine partially died in less than a year. One day I was listening to something and there was white noise and popping noises over my audio. Switched to the back plug from the front panel and the noise went away.
Other Thoughts: I would RMA this with ASUS but it was so cheap it's hardly worth the effort. I don't know what to buy now though because it's hard to find an inexpensive sound card that works good that has a headphone amp built in. Might end up getting another one.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Don't ya love it when something just works exactly like it is supposed to, and works so well that you forget your even using it because it never puts another thought into your mind because it just works and never causes any issues? That would be this product. It is fantastic, great speeds no hiccups no performance hit from going to wireless from wired....
Cons: Kinda big.... Its the size of a candy bar. Not as small as it looks from the site
Other Thoughts: Using the top of the line Asus router with this.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Extremely quiet. Fans don't even make noise when playing games. I cannot hear the fan on this video card even when playing BF3 over my CPU fan. Much better than SLI 570's.
Other Thoughts: I dumped my SLI 570's for this because I was unhappy with the amount of noise they had. They also stuttered all the time in BF3 and Crysis 2 with everything maxed out. This card plays all my games smoothly with no noise and no stutter. I have not found a game I cannot max out with this card with my 2500kREAD FULL REVIEW
