Pros: Overall this card seems to be pretty good quality. Haven't really tested it on OC though, but everything I currently have this thing runs no problem. Paired with an i5 3470k

Cons: seems to run a little hot despite not being OC'ed and residing in a spacious azza full tower with a thousand fans pointed at it. It idles at very low temps so I'm not worried, but the card gets up into the 70's playing eve online on full settings whereas my old 6870 would hit the high 60's. The 6870 would idle in the mid to high 30's though whereas this card idles in the low 20's. So not sure what to make of that. Will probably at some point get an aftermarket cooler for it before I really OC it.

Overall Review: MSI rebates seem to be sketchy. They tell you for weeks that your rebate has been mailed, than all of a sudden they say they can't find your rebate information when you try to track your rebate. Only reason this card doesn't get a 5 egg is cause of MSI.

Pros: beautiful laptop. Fast, plays online flash games that bog down my older pc flawlessly. Screen is absolutely gorgeous, very glad I went with the 17.3 version. Ridiculous warranty. If they stay true to their warranty claims I may never buy another laptop from another company again..............as long as this kind of warranty remains. This should be industry standard.

Cons: the only con so far is the ****ing bloatware. The thing did a windows update and than locked up and had to restore. Only happened once so far but I'll bet it happens again. Battery life is average, but I may end up buying a higher cap cell myself in a year so it's ok. Don't keep this thing on a bed, has to be on hard surface that ventilates. The fans are good on this thing but you can tell they work overtime when you've got the thing on the bed.

Overall Review: Gave this a 4 egg only for the software issues which have already been discussed. Does anyone know if it's possible to get a full disk from asus so that I can completely wipe the hard drive and start over? Also, I would like to ask asus support if I need to register the laptop in any way for the warranties?
