Pros: temperature sensors, 2-speed fans, fits 17" laptops.
Cons: The extended feet don't have anti-slip pads. When you elevate the cooler to help airflow, the set up, the laptop and the cooler, slides on the surface.
Other Thoughts: I would still buy it again, since buying anti-slip tape or rubber feet for it isn't horrible.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SUPERMICRO MBD-X10SAT-O ATX Server Motherboard LGA 1150 DDR3 1600/1333/1066
Pros: Nice board. Thunderbolt port. 4 USB 3.0 ports.
Cons: Was not able to get Linux installed on it.
Other Thoughts: Linux wasn't a deal breaker as I did have a Windows 7 Pro key. I think if I would have dug deeper I could have found my issue and had Linux working fine, but didn't have the time to get it working.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Nice box, 6G speed. Takes 4 TB drives.
Cons: The highpoint card that comes with it wouldn't boot with the hard drives configured in a RAID (I tried RAID 5 and RAID 0). There is a firmware "upgrade" workaround that was a little difficult to find.
Other Thoughts: Once I got the workaround working, everything is fine. There is a slightly longer boot time as, i think it is the card, has to initialize all 5 drives. With the card that comes with it, i was able to also attach a Vantec HX4 that I had to it and put that into a different RAID.READ FULL REVIEW
