Pros: works as advertised. This actually decreases my video cards Temp from 38C down to 35C
Cons: none
Defective Product
Pros: Pre N ... connect at high Mbps.... Range is awesome...
Cons: this thing worked fine for the first 2 days then it died on me!! called their phone tech support, took 3 hours to get a tech on the line .... and who answers the phone ? a foreign guy who cant even pronounce router right , and he turns out telling me that the product is defective ! ..... im really dissapointed with DLink ....
Pros: Great O/C capabilities!! Got my FX-8350 running at 4.8GHz with a minor voltage increase with an aftermarket HSF.
Cons: None yet.
Overall Review: Will follow up a few months down the road to update this review!
Pros: High Clock Proc, LOW POWER!!, dual-core with hyperthreading. Overall this Proc is holding its ground in my virtualized environment. Have it running Server 2012 with Hyper-V enabled and running 4 VM's. Just slightly slower than the processor it replaced which was the older gen i5-2500K.
Cons: None so far! Haven't tried to OC it yet but its running nicely at its stock speed.
Overall Review: Haven't tested the integrated graphics as its being used in a virtual environment.
BEAST!
Pros: This thing is a beast! bought this to build a workstation and daium i impressed! I wanted to overclock it just slightly but didn't want to have it running at that speed constantly so i all i did was changed its turbo boost speeds in the bios to go from 3.7GHz to 4.5Ghz without having to adjust any voltage! So now it idles at around 1.6Ghz while using the PC to work , but once i start utilizing more of the CPU it will turbo boost itself upto 4.5GHz! Amazing! idles at 28C , and under 100% load at 4.5GHz goes up as high as 58C.. i COULD invest some time in ACTUALLY tweaking it to OC higher but whats the point ? 4.5GHz is plenty enough! Specs are as follows : GIGABYTE GA-Z68AP-D3(R2.0) LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard /// COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 /// EVGA 01G-P3-1431-KR GeForce GT 430 (Fermi) 1GB /// Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 /// and of course the beast Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz
Cons: NONE! well.... wish it was cheaper!
Overall Review: I was debating between this CPU or the AMD 8core cpu.. after some research found this one stomps on AMD's 8core FX ...I mean sure 8 cores sounds great but really ? when are they ever going to fully utilize all 8 cores efficiently enough to benefit from them ? When that time comes im SURE the FX8150 will be obsolete by then!..
JUST FREAKIN AMAZING!
Pros: Just got this processor to replace an old P4 (Energy saving) server that was running around a total power consumption of around 150-180watts. With this new Processor and a new motherboard now im running around 60-80watts MAX!! Got this CPU running at 1GHz and a voltage of .896V and CPUIDHW is reading a temp of around 25-27C. Just amazing! I know this server may not requiere much CPU power but theres times it does, its mainly a server used for DHCP, connecting about 20-30 users online 24/7 and a file hoster and so far its been running almost 2 weeks straight without a reboot and still running as if i had just restarted it!
Cons: NONE!
