Pros: Fast RAM, extended heatsinks, rebate
Cons: Had to set timings manually, but I was using a non-EPP motherboard so that would be expected.
Other Thoughts: I'm using 8GB with a Core2 Quad system and Vista 64-bit and after manually setting the timings and the voltage these run reliably (which is what I need as this is a video editing system I make a living on). I have run each of the OCCT tests for 8hrs or more and it passed without errors using the 4-4-4-12 timings and 2.1v.
I'm glad I bought them 3 months ago when they were cheaper, but they are still a great value when compared to the alternatives. BTW- just received my rebate check a couple of weeks ago, one of the faster and least problematic rebates I've submitted in a while - thank you Patriot!!
Pros: Clean and stable power, good PFC (0.99 in actual use), ample power connectors
Other Thoughts: This has been a great power supply, reliable, very clean and stable power output. I use it on a Core2 Duo system with a single SATA hard drive, DVD-RW drive, a Sapphire HD 3870 video card and 3GB of DDR2 memory.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Cheap, easy to operate, handles all media I've fed it
Cons: None I noticed
Other Thoughts: I will buy one when I need another DVD-RW drive (though I might opt for the SATA version of this drive). I feel it has out-performed both my Pioneer and NEC drives that I own!READ FULL REVIEW
