Outstanding entry-level mechanical keyboard

Pros: This is my first mechanical keyboard. I've always thought about buying one, but goodness, they're so expensive! Over Black Friday, Newegg dropped the price of this keyboard to the lowest level I've seen for any mechanical keyboard, so I figured I had nothing to lose by trying it. +The tactile feedback you receive from pressing each key is truly something that has to be experienced firsthand. I feel as though it's increased my typing speed. +On conventional rubber dome keyboards, you have to press the key down all the way in order for it to work. With these mechanical switches, you only need to press keys down halfway. If you do a lot of typing, your fingers will thank you for not having to press as hard! +The audible "click" of this keyboard's Cherry Blue mechanical switches isn't nearly as loud as I thought it would be. The clicking helps accuracy, just as the tactile feedback does, and it makes typing FUN! +The white body looks sharp. Even the Rosewill logo in the upper-right corner is tastefully done. It's a good thing the white version went on sale - the black one must look incredibly drab by comparison. +No silly extras like added USB ports to drive up the price. This is a typist's keyboard, plain and simple. +You can repair this keyboard; it isn't just another piece of throwaway junk. The key caps, key switches, and cable are all replaceable.
Cons: -Learning to type without bottoming out the keys (pressing the keys down all the way) takes some getting used to. -Typing on conventional rubber dome keyboards will feel mushy and generally unpleasant. As another reviewer stated, if you don't want your eyes to be opened, s
Overall Review: My only other experience with mechanical keyboards occurred roughly 3-4 years ago, when I briefly owned a keyboard with Cherry Brown mechanical switches. I like the Cherry Blues much better! You'll love their click. Rosewill sourced this keyboard from the same OEM that manufactures the Filco Majestouch keyboards - so the feedback you read about those keyboards can be said to apply to this one. I hesitated to buy this keyboard at its normal price because I wasn't sure if it was worth the investment. Trust me: it's worth it.
