Superb VGA Cooler

ZALMAN VF900 – CU 2 Ball VGA Cooler
ZALMAN VF900 – CU 2 Ball VGA Cooler

Pros: Easy installation, took no more then five minutes. Hardest part was just lining up the screws to the appropriate holes. Fit nicely on my XFX Geforce 8600 GT XXX using the second hole from the center. Cooled it from a blistering 95c+ under extreme load with minimal O/C to 55c under same load at 720/950 O/C! 42c idle and 55c at extreme loads.

Cons: Nothing really; the fins are pretty sharp though, be careful handling it.

Overall Review: Unbeatable for the price. Nearly cut temps in half under heavy loads! Able to O/C from default of 620/800 to 720/950 with no artifacts and a cool 55c. Outstanding VGA Cooler!

Just OK Overall

Fractal Design Meshify C Black ATX High-Airflow Compact Mid Tower Computer Case
Fractal Design Meshify C Black ATX High-Airflow Compact Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Great size, nice layout, light weight

Cons: I bought this case for my wife and was quite shocked at the quality compared to my Fractal Design Define 5. The Define 5 is such a sturdy, well built, well thought-out case and the Meshify C just isn't. The front panel is a pain in the bum to take off if you want to clean it. The mesh cover on the top is extremely flimsy plastic held on by some cheap magnets. The drive bay cover is a pain to take off as you also need to take the front cover off to remove it. The material quality overall is much lower than that of the Define 5. It's nice that the case is light weight, but it's also significantly flimsier than the material used in my Define 5.

Overall Review: Would not recommend this case at "normal" price, potentially recommend at sale prices.

Great card

EVGA 02G-P4-3677-KR GeForce GTX 670 FTW Signature2 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
EVGA 02G-P4-3677-KR GeForce GTX 670 FTW Signature2 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: No complaints thus far, though I've only had the card a few days. It plays BF3 in 1920x1080 with max settings on multiplayer and rarely dips under 60 FPS. The fans are relatively quiet and the card runs quite cool. It replaced a terrible MSI GTX570 that constantly locked up playing BF3. Haven't had a single issue with this card.

Cons: I'm being nit-picky here, but I was a little surprised by the plastic fan shroud/shield on the card. Really not a problem or concern, just figured it would be sturdier.

Overall Review: Great card, good price, super fast service by Newegg.

Frustration all around :(

MSI GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card N570GTX-M2D12D5/OC
MSI GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card N570GTX-M2D12D5/OC

Pros: I've own this card for approximately three months and it is wonderful when it's working. Plays Battlefield Bad Company 2 at highest settings at 1920x1080 with no problems at all.

Cons: At the factory speeds, the card constantly locks up. CTRL+ALT+DEL or sometimes hard locks with artifacts etc. If I put the card at reference speeds, I can play for hours without issue. As soon as I put it back to the factory speeds, lock ups within minutes; VERY frustrating to buy a card and have to underclock it to get it usable.

Overall Review: Learned my lesson on this one, won't be buying any factory over clocked cards from now on.
