TP-LINK Archer C7 Wireless AC1750 Dual Band Gigabit Router, 450Mbps on 2.4GHz + 1300Mbps on 5Ghz, 2 USB Ports, IPv6, Guest Network
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Fast! Fair built construction, strong signal, above speed's expected. Many LED's on front, displaying; both wifi band's activity, power, LAN, WAN, Internet, etc... This is nice!

Cons: None so far!

Other Thoughts: Fantastic Router. Just returned a Linksys WRT1200AC. This is much better quality internal parts. External is slightly on the cheap side with the plastic and the LED display lights. There's many of them too!

Linksys WRT1200AC Wireless AC1200 Dual-Band and Wi-Fi Wireless Router with Gigabit and USB 3.0 Ports and eSATA
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Tons of great features! Open source! USB 3.0!

Cons: Experiencing the same exact problems others are having with this router. Progressive WiFi speeds instead of, consistent speeds. All problems point at WiFi and sometimes the Ethernet too acts up with speed issues. I have a Zoom 5586J cable modem and it works perfectly fine directly bypassing router to computer, (wired of course).

Other Thoughts: Linksys has always been my favorite network brand of all kinds. Now, it seems that Belkin is killing the brand sadly. Going for a TP Link Archer C7 instead.

2 out of 5 eggs Best overall bang for buck!!! [UPDATE] 04/19/2015

This review is from: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 970 4GB G1 GAMING OC EDITION

Pros: Great overclocker (with MSI Afterburner). Stock cooler more than adequate to achieve GeForce 980 GTX SPEEDS!!!!
Runs FarCry 4 (paired with 144hz monitor) @ 32-50 FPS with NO STUTTERING!!!

Cons: [UPDATE]: So far, one DVI port has decided to fail on me. I would have given this car a 1 star but added another (for having a secondary DVI outlet).

Hynix VRAM. Gigabyte did the switcharoo and went from higher quality Samsung memory to cheap Hynix VRAM! BOO!!!
