Pros: The I/O light is a cool blue. Case is warm to the touch but ok. power connector is a 2 prong not a bulky transformer. 100-240VAC means it should work in another country's higher voltage although I have not tried it. The case can be opened and HD swapped out.

Cons: Aluminum case will pick up superficial scratches. 3ft USB cable too short. Not the fastest thing on the planet but good for most users.

Overall Review: For the price I paid it is worth it although a USB ONLY interface is a disadvantage. Will definetely look for USB and FireWire interface for my next purchase

Pros: Works very well. My work has one router for over one hundred people. I used to have problems connecting and speed issues and this device is a big improvement. It comes with an optional extension cable that is reasonably long alowing you to place it farther away from your laptop.

Cons: It is top heavy so it has a tendency to fall over if the cable is pulled slightly. It needs an optional large suction cup for stability.

Overall Review: Although the instructions don't say this, I would recommend you disbale your internal WIFI while using this exernal device. The reason is that your laptop will connect with both the internal and the Hawking at the same time and it is not possible to know which one you are using. You may be using the slower internal instead of the faster external without realizing it, which means your bandwith can drop or slow down unexpectedly. Use only one and disable the other to prevent problems.

Pros: Comes with a case for disk protection. Works only once so make it count.

Cons: Shipping cost is the killer. It is almost the cost of the disk. Someone needs to address this.

Pros: Upgrade for a P4 single core on XP for my brother in law. Now his computer runs faster then my Vista dual core, I am so jealous!

Cons: At this price don't expect cooling fins on the memory stick. I drilled some holes on the case and added a case fan.

Overall Review: XP is still an excellent OS after all this years.
