Not for a lot of connections
Pros: It worked out of the box and the menu was fairly easy to use. Support from NetGear is better than average with lots of follow up
Cons: It seems to have some sort of DHCP issue. When the family all came over during the holiday, along with their iphones, laptops, and netbooks, we would get fairly frequent line drops, especially when someone tried to use a printer with a static IP. Once everyone left it ran like a top.
Overall Review: This is great for general use. Large tech-heavy families or small businesses might exceed its abilities.
webcam
Pros: It loads automatically under Windows 7 I bought it because it has a long cord. The other webcams I have the cords are so short that if you have a PC on the floor it won't reach up to eye level.
Cons: 1. The stand is uselss. i can't figure out what they were trying to do when they designed it. It won't clip on anything and it won't sit on the table without flopping over. 2. It easily blooms the image with oversaturation even in fairly dark conditions. 3. I did figure out the focus ring. But it still can't really focus very well. 4. No instructions or even a model number stamped on it. 5. Found no way to load it under Linux. 6. Quality is about what webcams were doing back in 1996. It looks like it is running 150 pixels square.
Installation failed
Pros: None that I can think of, since it would not install
Cons: One screw was bad on the retention clip. Asked the company if I could buy a new screw or retention clip and never heard back.
Didn't work out of the box
Pros: None. Like a brick.
Cons: Lots. Turned on and froze up at the first GPS location and would never change.
Not sure What to make of these
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: No adjustable boom on my set. Just a mike on the cord.
