Cheap and effective!

Aposonic A-CDBI03 480 TV Lines MAX Resolution 480TV Lines 28 IR LEDS Outdoor Waterproof Camera
Aposonic A-CDBI03 480 TV Lines MAX Resolution 480TV Lines 28 IR LEDS Outdoor Waterproof Camera

Pros: Wide angle, great color range for the price and exceptional quality. Good for basic CCTV needs. Very good especially for outdoor use and since I'm not using this for the night vision just so I can get a general idea of who is around my business around what time.

Cons: None except night vision could be better however, for the price I can't really complain. They do a good enough job. Do not expect them to read license plates of a car in middle of the night unless the thief pulled up right in front of the camera.

Overall Review: If you want some really good quality CCTV spend more money and be satisfied. However, if you are looking for a CCTV camera to record everyday to day activity at your work place, or just for general recording needs. I think these cameras can't be beat for the price.

Very good cheap router

Edimax BR-6228NS 150 Mbps 11n Wireless Broadband Router with 4 Port Switch, featured with intelligent iQ-Setup for hassle free installation and configuration, Green technology for electricity saving.

Pros: Cheap router. Hasn't done any random resets and small.

Cons: Possible range limitations

Overall Review: Bought this when Newegg had a sale on this router. Works very well for my friends 1 bedroom apartment. He wanted something cheap and that would work. Well this met his price point and quality.

Cheap A/C

Haier HWF05XCK 5,000 Cooling Capacity (BTU) Window Air Conditioner
Haier HWF05XCK 5,000 Cooling Capacity (BTU) Window Air Conditioner

Pros: Cools a 10x15 room pretty well. Not super fast but reasonable time (I'd say about 30mins to bring it around low 70's). Cheap was around 85 when I bought it on sale. Good price for this hot summer

Cons: The rear of this unit does not have drain holes. I know they say don't drill any holes however, if you live in a very humid area then you may just want to make a very small hole in the back to allow the water to drain. Or tilt it a little more then recommended (would not advise doing this unless you are very good at it). So you will start to get water buildup quick on a humid hot day. The fan rattles when it starts up but goes away once it reaches its maximum rpm and starts to cool.

Overall Review: The fan is noisy but not bad. You can definitely have a conversation with someone else without it bothering too much. The unit started to get some excessive water inside so the fan started to make the water hitting the fan noise. However, once I tilted it more back the problem has been resolved. Overall this is a good cheap unit to cool a small room or so. However, do not buy this unit if you want to set the fan speed to low and not be able to hear it. THIS WILL NOT DO THAT! If you are looking for a A/C that will cool and not cost a whole lot. Then this is it. Since I only bought this for the guest room. I can handle the heat but my guests cannot.

Good closed loop system

Antec KUHLER H2O 920 Liquid Cooling System
Antec KUHLER H2O 920 Liquid Cooling System

Pros: Bought this for a Ivy bridge machine build. Keeps the temps around 30C under idle and under full load the max temps hit are 60c on stock settings. Large radiator, USB control software works very well. The cables for the fan and USB header are quality made and don't seem very brittle or easily breakable (a good thing since you want to tug them in the back).

Cons: Pain to install. If you are building a PC by yourself have someone help you since it makes things easier and will make you not want to rip your hair out. When installing the radiator you need screws that go through the back of your case through the first 120MM fan and to the radiator. The screws were not long enough to go through both my case (Lian Li PC-7FN) and to the radiator. So I had to do some manual hunting for screws to make this thing hook up securely.

Overall Review: The fans are very noisy at default settings but that is understandable since that setting only kicks in when you don't have the USB header plugged in. The way I got my software to work is by not installing the USB header until I had my Windows 7 installed and got the Antec software installed. After that I turned of the machine and unplugged it. Took the USB header and plugged it on one of the spare USB 2.0 connections on the motherboard. Started up the computer and the software located the unit and I was able to change fan speed and make some other minor changes without a problem.

Great ram no hassle

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin PC RAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin PC RAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL

Pros: Tested it using ram testing utilities and supports XMP. Didn't have to change anything in bios since auto detect

Cons: None so far...unless it turns defective

Overall Review: Works great with my Asus Z77 board.

Good case for the money

LIAN LI PC-7FN USB 3.0 Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
LIAN LI PC-7FN USB 3.0 Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Bought this case for my new Ivy bridge build. Very clean case and aimed at being tool less design. Ample room for a mid tower case. Aluminum build and quality outside paint (doesn't "feel" cheap). Fans are silent and keep the components cool. Front LED fan is not super bright (not a fan of bright fans on my case)

Cons: Can't turn off the lights on the front fan. Installing Antec Kuhler was a pain because of the large radiator size and being right on the top of the case. Taking out the front fan means taking out a lot of other items (seems to be the drive bay). If you have a lot of hot components in the case it probably will get hot.

Overall Review: My build is: Intel i5 3570k ASUS P8Z77-V LX 8gigs of G.Skill F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL Thermaltake 700w PSU 128 SSD M4 2tb HDD
