Starcraft II - RTS mastered

Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty PC Game
Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty PC Game

Pros: You're not going to find a better real time strategy game. The campaign is flawless, no bugs, excellent replay value, great achievement system. The multiplayer is finely tuned, well polished, enjoyable, and rewarding. Portraits, achievements, cross game chat, custom game libraries, etc. Textures look great, voice-overs are flawless, Blizzard humor is alive and well. The constant updates and soon to be expansion are just icing on the cake. Do yourself a favor and go buy this game.

Cons: Always online with battle.net seems to bother quite a few people, I never really noticed. I love that I can go to another computer somewhere and immediately have access to my saved games and profile. It puts some people off but that's the only downside, not worth losing an egg and knowing Blizzard they'll make it fully offline in 25 years when they take the servers down (Diablo I battle.net servers still running).

Overall Review: I think the real time strategy market is dead because people know they can't do better than Blizzard. I bet Heart of the Swarm is equally amazing in terms of visuals and replayability.

Good card, not great

EVGA SuperClocked 01G-P3-1563-AR GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
EVGA SuperClocked 01G-P3-1563-AR GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: This card is adequate. The evga precision utility gives you a good amount of options for fan and voltage control, seems decently responsive to changes. Card runs most newer titles without much of an error.

Cons: Do you use headphones while gaming? Excellent! This card may just be for you. Do you have speakers? Bummer, they won't be as loud as the jet engine fan in this bad boy. I have never in my life had such a noisy pc component, it's insane! The thing idles low enough but under load it gets 75+ even when you ramp the fan up it barely slows down. Because of the heat emitted from the card and the insane fan it also causes my speakers interference in the form of popping noise (only when under heavy load) so I can't multi task without problems.

Overall Review: For the money you can get a much faster, better, quieter, cooler card. There's no reason to buy this card in 2013 and beyond.
