Great, not good
Pros: Not THAT hot. Ran full tests on ultra everything, from GTA 5, witcher 3, far cry 4. My temps havent gone over 76 degrees C. its 76 80F degrees outside right now, ran tests in garage(outside temps in a box so more like 80+). All tests were at 1080p Over the top performance on all most demanding games to date. More justifiable than dropping $1100-$1200 on a Titan X 4k Ready to go.
Cons: Loud, like much louder than my 660ti sli setup. Not annoyingly so but its noticeable. Not THAT cool either. Big, i have a mid size case. Almost didnt fit, an inch or two of space left.
Overall Review: Wouldnt have upgraded if i had say 800 or 900 series already. Just sli and save $730, this will be cheaper very soon, and exponentially. Its a great single GPU for all the 1080p games, and from what i hear(havent tested) 4k If i wouldve known about the noise and the temps i wouldve bought the ACX 2.0 ver with the extra fans, perhaps the hybrid build but it seems a little much. My 660ti sli setup was compared to that of a regular Titan at half the cost, and they lasted me up until this point (3 years) and still relevantly running things on high/very high. You can get good quality at MUCH cheaper prices. If you really want to "future proof" then get this if you can afford it. I appreciate cost efficiency and i found this to be expensive but more cost efficient than the 900 series all together.
Buyers Remorse
Pros: Its Starwars....
Cons: NOT 5.1 extremely expensive for such sub par HP. Good sound but not THAT good. Completely a brand support purchase.
Overall Review: Its hard to complain when everything else Disney sells is so fairly priced ;)
Overclocked to 2800 with no problem
Pros: Overclockable. Came with ram fan(i guess thats a pro) Wasnt DOA
Cons: Cas timings are a little loose.
Overall Review: msi gd65 i7 3770k
Manually had to change to 1600
Pros: Overall great, was free :) No problems, Team Vulcan has a great rep to start with.
Cons: Comes stock as DDR3 1333 had to change in BIOS, at first i didnt mind till i upgraded to some better ram. Now i have 16 GB running at 1333, my other ram came running at 1600 but ram always defaults to the lower setting. Kinda my fault for buying to diff sets but THIS set IS marketed at 1600. Took off an egg.
Overall Review: Looks cool
Good sound card
Pros: 1. Wasn't DOA 2. Optical in/out 3. THX crystal clear software 4. Has Dolby Digital Live codec for 5.1 receiver compatibility.
Cons: Does NOT work well with other drivers installed. Wont take an egg off because that's kinda expected. Took me about 15 minutes of tinkering to figure out how to output 5.1 to my reciever through the optical out port. Instructions on Dolby Digital Live were a bit confusing but not impossible to figure out if you know what youre doing.
Overall Review: Its a sound card.
Top of the line quality
Pros: 1.Factory OC'd 2.Comes with GPU fan control program 3. Runs all the latest games smooth at Ultra-Extreme settings @ 1080p, and thats with a qx6700 core 2 duo, and 8gb ddr2 667 ram(Not top of the line hardware by far...like 2006 far) just to give you some perspective 4. All you need is one, wont need to SLI for at least a couple years 5. 450w required PSU, really low for such a powerhouse card.
Cons: Fans a LITTLE loud, i didnt find it a bother so i wont take off an egg, plus the fan control app can adjust the speed to a lower rpm and sac a little temp for a silent card.
