Not worth it
Pros: It's a case and it works as advertised except for the cons below.
Cons: I purchased this case to use with the Supermicro MBD-X10DRI-O dual LGA 2011 motherboard and two Intel Xeon E-52680 v3 Haswell processor. The case is very narrow and this limits the CPU cooler that you can use. I purchased the Supermicro SNK-P0048PS heatsinks and it was a mistake. The case comes with two 80 mm fans in the front and, even if you add two additional ones, there is no enough airflow to keep the processors cool. Even when idle, the processors run at 60 C. In addition, the power supply is non-modular and it is impossible to keep the mess of unused cables out of the airflow of the fans.
They don't work
Pros: They are cheap and small
Cons: I bought these to use in a Supermicro Cse-743Tq-1200B-Sq case with a Supermicro MBD-X10DRI-O dual LGA 2011 motherboard and two Xeon E5-2680 processors. There is not enough airflow in the case to keep the processors below 80 C with these heatsinks. Get heatsinks with fans if you can.
No built in microphone
Pros: Good monitor, decent webcam
Cons: No microphone in the webcam. It never ocurred to me that it wouldn't have one. Now I have a monitor with webcam but I have to buy a microphone. I think that's just crazy. Why wouldn't they include a microphone? Is one supposed to use sign language when using Skype?
