Wow. Power. Cool.
Pros: This PSU has a LOT of wattage to throw around. I have been running it on my rig: Athlon64 FX55/GeForce 7800GTX OC/2gb DDR400/4 optical drives/2hdds/4 fans for over 3 months now, no troubles. Voltages has been spot on, even under very heavy load.
Cons: The cabling, as some have already meantioned, are on the long side. It took a bit of work to find places to stick the extra cords.
Overall Review: This unit is a lot quieter and more powerful than both my previous Antec and ThermalTake PSUs that died within a year of use, yet it cost about the same. Should I ever need to buy another PSU, I will definately look at Aspire.
It's an extension cable. It works.
Pros: What else is there to say about an extension cable?
Cons: What else is there to say about an extension cable?
Overall Review: It's an extension cable. It works.
Overall Very Pleased
Pros: Keeps my Ryzen 5 1600X at less than 40 degrees even under load. Actual installation was pretty simple once I got everything put together.
Cons: What the others have said about assembling this thing is true. Thermaltake ships this cooler in a much more broken down state than competing brands. Installing the bracket for the water block is not particularly intuitive and the included instructions are not much help. It will take a few minutes of fiddling to stumble across the "Aha!" moment.
Overall Review: I would like to see the design of the brackets changed. Switching to a simple twist on/twist off design such as the one Corsair uses would make assembly much easier.
Cheap and it works
Pros: I bought two of these along with a laptop hard drive to upgrade my PS4. Each worked just fine for save game back up and Sony firmware. I don't really need the storage at the moment, but for the price paid, I don't mind leaving a couple flash drives in a drawer until I need them again.
Cons: None
Good, inexpensive SLI board
Pros: This is a good, stable SLI board for Socket 939 chipsets. I have had zero problems with mine. All of the cabling, screws, mounting points, and drivers needed to get up and running were in the box. The NForce4 chipset honestly beats the NForce3 250 that I was previously running, hands down.
Cons: None that I have found.
Overall Review: I have been getting better performance out of this "value" board than a friend of mine with a similar rig, only he's running the far more expensive MSI NeoPlatinum4. Why spend the extra cash when you don't have to?
Sweet
Pros: You name the game, this thing will run it maxed out. I'm a BIG Flight Simulator 2004 geek and I can run it at 1280x1024 with all the eye candy maxed out and still a minimum 40fps.
Cons: The card itself is very heavy. It took a little bit of fiddling to get it to sit properly in my PCIe slot. What others have said about the box, really a box within a box within yet another box, is absolutely true. It's a lot of trouble to open.
Overall Review: Yes, this video card is not cheap, but if you have the money buy it! The 7800GTX blows the 6800GT I had out of the water.
I ordered a tube of thermal paste from Corn Electronics. It arrived on time and as described. The thermal compound actually arrived a day earlier than the CPU I ordered from NewEgg itself at the same time. In all, this was a perfectly smooth transaction. Should I need the same thermal compound in the future I would have no issues with re-ordering from this seller.
