Power supply is great, but has a few issues.
Pros: Seasonic makes excellent power supplies and this one is no exception. Runs great with very little fan noise. I'm running a 3080ti and an Ryzen 5950x and its been perfect. Power draw from the wall for my system is around 530watts or so, a 750w psu is more than enough. Cable management can be great and when its on sale its a great buy.
Cons: The extension design doesn't fit every case and it's almost too thick for anything that doesn't have a lot of space behind the motherboard for cable management. The GPU cables are too short and longer ones should be provided. The cables will work if you send them through the motherboard side of the case, but just barely and they are way too short if you have an NZXT style opening on the bottom of the PSU shroud of your case.
Overall Review: Its a good PSU for very specific cases, but it's really too expensive and the cables are just too short.
Cheap and Loud
Pros: Very inexpensive and provides stable power to my budget system. I originally thought this was the best power supply for the price, and it probably still is, but...
Cons: The flipping fan is stupid loud when it kicks in and it continues to cycle up and down every few minutes during anything that requires more than a 25 percent load on my phenom II x4.
Overall Review: Seriously...the fan is either dead silent, or insanely loud, and this would be terrible as a htpc power supply, but probably works great in a closet for a home server
Good RGB Fans that aren't Corsair
Pros: Good fans that are reasonably quiet and work great for radiators and as regular case fans. Daisy chain RGB cables make things really simple and if your motherboard only has a couple headers, you still won't need a fan/RGB controller. Cheaper than high end alternatives and not terrible like the low end stuff.
Cons: RGB effect isn't as bright or nice as other high end brands, but it does look smooth at least. All the fans hum a certain RPM, doesn't matter what case or position. Your fan speed needs to be either above or below the hum, unless you are crazy....you might prefer the hum over the voices in your head.
Overall Review: Great fans and I would purchase again if I needed. I have a 3 pack of 140mm and now a 120mm pack.
Great Card but feels cheaply made
Pros: After upgrading from a Nitro Fury, this card feels so much faster/smoother at 1440p and has much better temps. One 8 pin power connector is amazing compared to most other GTX 1080's and it basically overclocks the same anyway. Backplates are an absolute must at this price, and at least this card has one. It is super cool and quiet in my NZXT s340 elite.
Cons: Build quality is not close the the Sapphire Nitro Fury on any level. Plastic fan shroud feels weak and the backplate is very thin and dull/boring compared to other GTX 1080's and my previous Fury. The RGB lighting looks cheap compared to the rest of the RGB stuff in my case. It can be turned off, but you are forced to use the Gigabyte xtreme software to do so. The day after purchase it went on sale, and the next week it was bundled with Destiny 2. So really bad timing on my part, but that happens sometimes. Also, the orange looks really lame, but at least that's facing the bottom of my case.
Overall Review: Great card for the price compared to other GTX 1080's, but it's the cheapest feeling GPU I have purchased in a long time, and no where as nice as the Nitro Fury it replaced.
Awesome Card when on sale!
Pros: Runs super cool and quiet, especially compared to my 290x. Good performance, and excellent build quality. Feels like a much higher end product than the reference card. I got the card for less than 3 benjamins on sale here at newegg, awesome price.
Cons: Super long for some, but it has plenty of room in my Enthoo Pro M. Not as fast as the GTX 1070/1080 and really bad when its full price, which makes it more expensive than the 1070. Memory won't overclock at all on my card, and the core only goes up a little, but I'm at 1135 and relatively stable.
Overall Review: I would buy this again at the sale price, but not at full price. If newegg wouldn't have limited the sale to one card per customer, I would definitely be rocking 2 of these in crossfire.
Awesome Ram
Pros: Super cheap and very easy to overclock. No voltage or timing increases and I'm running at DDR4 2800, which is excellent for the price.
Cons: None, unless you wanted a heat spreader for some reason, but ddr4 runs very cool.
Overall Review: Great ram, but it before the price goes up!
Great 240mm AIO for certain builds
I have this installed on a Ryzen 3900x and it works great. Temps are awesome and it looks much more professional than some of the other aio options. The biggest issue I have is the tubes are not quite long enough. When mounted vertically it's important for the tubes to be at the bottom of the radiator, unfortunately its barely long enough for that in a mid tower case. That's the only complaint, its great otherwise and if you plan to mount the radiator close to the CPU, you should be in good shape.
