PRETTY FREAKIN' SWEET!
Pros: Performs awesome in Source Engine games, over 100 FPS, with everything on High. It performs awesome in BioShock too, bioshock doesnt have a built-in FPS counter, so i dont know it's frame rates.
Cons: once you jack up the res in a Source Engine, (really jack it up), it drops to about 60-70 FPS, still very playable. havent tried res in bioshock. 256MB of RAM, but still worth it
Overall Review: upgraded from a really bad computer: 2500+, Geforce 4MX, some bad stock mobo, and 1 GB of RAM current specs: 5600+ X2, Geforce 8800 256MB, some mobo lol, 2GB of high-frequncy-RAM
Pros: it gets the job done
Cons: only 2 slots for memory, no SLI
Overall Review: good for a upgrade, would recommend
good, does what it needs to do
Pros: IT works. Good. Better than onboard, but that may just the placebo effect kicking in. Very good price
Cons: Honestly, if you have the money, go for something better like the x-fi titanium or one of the ASUS cards. Also, turn off EAX When listening to music, it got all awkwardly echoey.
Overall Review: I bought this to replace my messed up onboard. Works fine in windows 7, windows detected it and auto-installed the needed drivers, very easy.
Awesome!
Pros: One word: Awesome. Takes anything you throw at it, HUGE HUGE step up from my old 2500+!!
Cons: A tad loud, but it's totally fine!
