nice and breezy
Pros: Very breezy case. I filled every single fan slot, and have a Phanteks PH-TC14PE_BL and GTX 670 (GV-N670OC-2GD) in there without any issues. Still a close fit, but nothing is touching, even with the side panel fans. I run my fans at about half power, and my components still stay nice and cool.
Cons: The top fan really should have a fan speed controller on the back. Not just an on/off switch. Not worth docking an egg though.
Overall Review: This thing is HUGE! Not counting it as a con, because I knew what I was getting myself into, but it's a different thing when you see it in person. Perfectly happy with it though.
It was good while it lasted. Very disappointed.
Pros: I received this card on 09/28/2012. It blasted through anything I could throw at it at absolute maximum settings. It also ran my dual display setup without issues.
Cons: My card is dying. It started showing artifacts a few days ago. I have single pixel sized dots all over my screen whether I'm gaming or even just browsing the web. I have tested all other components and done all of the reseating, resetting, and reinstalling that I can stand. It is definitely the graphics card. I am incredibly disappointed that it is having issues when I barely tax the device and have it in the coolest possible setup imaginable. I have never overclocked it, and am running it in an Antec Eleven Hundred with every fan slot filled. I decided on this exact model after extensive research, but it seems like the issues hadn't set in for people at that time, because when I research it now, I am definitely not alone with the problems. I am going to start the RMA process, but I would really like Gigabyte to allow me to pay the difference to upgrade to a better GTX 680 based card. I went with them, because they are supposed to be a premium manufacturer that can be trusted, and I am really hoping they come through on the customer service end of things. I have no problem paying for a better card and would just like the option. This card has been having issues for quite a few people.
Gets the job done.
Pros: It's a flash drive. Got it for free with my processor. Gets the job done.
Cons: Looks a little gaudy. Would have rather had just a solid black or silver. Doesn't seem to maintain true USB 3.0 speeds.
Great chip, but overclocking doesn't do much
Pros: Faster than most people would ever need.
Cons: Overclock performance is a bit disappointing. I overclocked it just for the sake of overclocking. This is with the biggest air cooling you can get. Phanteks PH-TC14PE and Antec Eleven Hundred with every fan slot loaded. I bought the unlocked version, just because it wasn't that much more than a locked one, but there isn't really much to be gained by overclocking.
Pros: Works as advertised. Fit underneath my monstrous Phanteks and work with my i7-3770k without any issues.
Cons: none
Overall Review: They also look pretty neat.
Pros: Works as advertised! No problems whatsoever, and hasn't produced any coasters.
Cons: none
Overall Review: It took a few reboots for Windows 8 Pro to recognize it, but it eventually worked. No fault of the manufacturer here.
