Great Ram

G.SKILL Ares Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-1866C10D-16GAB
G.SKILL Ares Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-1866C10D-16GAB

Pros: -G-Skill Ram always delivers. It's pretty much the only company I trust when it comes to RAM. My Mobo (MSI Z77 GD-65) recognized the RAM at 1866 right away. - The color fits great with my mobo - The design of the RAM is low profile so if you happen to use a huge air CPU cooler you probably won't have issues with these sticks getting in the way - A nice little G-skill sticker came with the RAM

Cons: None.

Overall Review: I'll probably be buying another set when the prices go down.

Most Critical Review

Very dissapointed in MSI

MSI Z77A-GD65 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
MSI Z77A-GD65 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: The color scheme works great with my PC-build. Decent at overclocking my 3770k.

Cons: The motherboard's LAN/ethernet connector stopped working in less than 60 days (32 days to be exact so I couldn't replace it with Newegg's replacement policy. I am receiving Error message: pxe-e05 ... The LAN-adapter's configuration is corrupted or not initialized. I've tried everything from resetting the BIOS to trying different Ethernet cables, to disabling the LAN boot option in the bios. It's obviously a malfunction with the motherboard. I was expecting MSI to build a great motherboard with this one but I guess I was wrong. I'm highly dissapointed with MSI.

Overall Review: I'm sure MSI realizes how much time/effort it takes to have to remove all components and wiring because of issues like these...

Very disappointed

Rosewill 5.1-Channel Vibrating Gaming Headset- USB Connector - RHTS-8206
Rosewill 5.1-Channel Vibrating Gaming Headset- USB Connector - RHTS-8206

Pros: Ok sound quality and microphone. 5.1 surround...bass...

Cons: The right ear speaker started making a crackling noise (even on low volume) after only a month and week......which is great since I can't RMA it now. The cushions are not comfortable and your ears will start hurting after a couple of hours. The thing is just too big even when the headset is retracted all the way...it'll be lose on your head. The microphone tends to drop from it's position unless you keep your head 100% stationary.....I'm very disappointed with this purchase

I've had these for over 2 years

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan

Pros: These fans push tons of air. They are really not that loud as some say they are. I don't know what people mean when they say that you have to oil them up. You don't have to nor should.

Cons: None

Overall Review: I've ordered 4 of these and had them in my case for over 2 years....all of them still work like they did the day I got them.

Great CPU

Intel Core i7-3770K - Core i7 3rd Gen Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Intel HD Graphics 4000 Desktop Processor - BX80637I73770K
Intel Core i7-3770K - Core i7 3rd Gen Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Intel HD Graphics 4000 Desktop Processor - BX80637I73770K

Pros: As everyone else has already mentioned. This CPU is blazing fast (especially when combined with an SSD). Windows 7 boots up in less than 10 seconds. I'm running a slight OC of 4.2ghz at the moment but will experiment a bit more once I get my full watercooling loop setup. It handles everything with easy, from various applications to the highest end games. It's amazing

Cons: Price

Overall Review: - i7 3770k - MSI Z77 GD65 - Corsair H50 liquid CPU cooler - 7970 OC VGA - 16gigs of DDR3 GSkill Ares 1866 Ram - Coolmax 1200w PSU - 810 NZXT case

Fast!

SAMSUNG 830 Series MZ-7PC128N/AM 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) Notebook Upgrade Kit
SAMSUNG 830 Series MZ-7PC128N/AM 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) Notebook Upgrade Kit

Pros: -This thing is blazing fast. I've never imagined how much faster a SSD is compared to a HDD. Windows 7 installed within 5 minutes. My bootup takes around 10 seconds now as opposed to when I was using a HDD. Software that used to take minutes to install takes seconds now. -The SSD is visually appealing.

Cons: -The price on SSDs is still pretty high (I'm sure they'll siginificantly go down in price with time and new technology coming out like the floppy did when the cd came out). -Price/amount of space on the drive but that's talking about SSDs in general (consider how much windows updates take up space alone)

Overall Review: I was going to purchase another one with the discount but they were all sold out already =( Get one if you can! Or better yet, two of them.
