1 out of 5 eggs Does NOT fit ASUS P8B-X R server board 10/20/2011

This review is from: SUPERMICRO SuperChassis CSE-512L-200B Black 1U Rackmount Server Case 200W

Pros: None yet

Cons: I/O panel doesn't match ASUS server board layout.
Also, server front panel connector is 16 pin, but the ASUS board uses 20 pin.

3 out of 5 eggs Does NOT fit in Supermicro 1U case 10/20/2011

This review is from: ASUS P8B-X LGA 1155 Intel C202 ATX Intel Xeon E3 Server Motherboard

Pros: None, because I can't use the board in the case I bought.

Cons: Doesn't fit in the Supermicro 1U case and doesn't use the same case panel header/pin combo. The case uses a 16 pin connector, but this motherboard uses 20 pin

1 out of 5 eggs Does NOT take just any ATX M/B 10/17/2011

This review is from: SUPERMICRO SuperChassis CSE-512L-200B Black 1U Rackmount Server Case 200W

Pros: Can't tell yet, since the motherboard I got DOESN'T FIT

Cons: WARNING - Although the case says it will take any motherboard up to full ATX size, I found out (the hard way) that you MUST get a motherboard that is compatible with the existing I/O Shield (which is a couple millimeters SHORTER) than the standard. You can't even use the motherboard without the backplane if the port housings are too tall.
From the manual page 5-5:
Important Motherboard Installation Information
Before installing the motherboard, be aware of the following:
I/O Shield Backplate
The backplate holds the motherboard ports in place. Your motherboard must match SC512 backplate. If your motherboard does not match, you must choose a different motherboard.
