Overall Review: Windows 7 required pre installing driver( no hard drive attached) if the card has no errors, the card installed correctly. Shut down the computer, attach your drive(ssd in my case) start your computer, enter bios, go to boot order and select your drive if you want it to be a boot drive( as in my case) This card does add to seconds to boot, not an issue to me. Highly recommend this SATA 3 card!

Pros: It lasted 30 Days passed it 90 Warranty. Thankfully I purchased the 1yr square trade

Overall Review: New Motherboards regardless of makers, come with a 1 year Manufacturers warranty ( some new boards come up to 3 year.) Open box units are still a good deal, IF you get it at a good price, and it's never installed. REFURBISHED MOTHERBOARDS however you are taking a major chance. I Took a chance on the board, and the person WHO REFURBISHED IT, did a job. Under Refurbished, it comes with a 90 warranty and it lasted 5 months to the day 2/16 to 7/16/20

Pros: The speed compared to my Samsung is very comparable The drive is very zippy, it doesn't have migration software which my Samsung 860 does, but this is for making a digital backup of my movies. I've got 3 little ones, that are very hard on their things.

Cons: There wasn't any Migration software with this drive, since this ssd was going to be a digital backup for videos, Migration software wasn't Needed.

Pros: This was purchased on shell shocker sale. This drive was formatted to format32. That formatted very very fast. It transfered my videos w8thin an hour! Based on My video backups, that was extremely fast. 39 -42Mbps I would definitely recommend this drive!

Overall Review: The drive had reported that the drive didn't have room for the 480GB drive to this 512Gb. Windows suggested that the drive be scanned and fixed the errors, which I did, then retried, and it finished without issues.( might fave been my kitten trying to rub against the drive. That's when I received that 1 error message) LOL

Pros: Price! 79.00 on new eggs deal of the day. Performance is very good. It came with migration software(acronis I believe)

Cons: Not as fast as my Samsung 1 TB drive, but I knew that prior to purchase. This is for a free-nas server box and is working flawlessly.

Overall Review: Simplicity installing a SSD drive and using software to migrate windows 10 from old spinner 2.5 drive to new ssd drive) I've used this as SSD needed enclosure to upgrade both my AMD desktop and a acer aspire 1 netbook( long in the tooth, and limited to upgrades 1 gig to 2 gig, and hard drives upgrades. SSD's make this old laptop, very snappy. This enclosure is a great and needed enclosure to make migration of windows, ( or any operating system) possible. It gets 5 stars from me!

I would and have recommended this pic card to upgrade am3 board with SATA 2 ports to SATA 3 ports. Just install the card with no drives ( let your system find the device driver Windows 7 you'll have to do a windows update. Which in my case found the device driver. Windows 10 has a generic driver that works great. After both systems have the card install, with the correct driver, enter bios to chande the boot drive to the ssd drive that has your operating system. Press F-10 to save the info and boot your system. The card will add 3 seconds to your boot of the drive, but in my case. The speed of the drive was very noticeable
