It's an optical cable

Tripp Lite A102-02M 6ft Toslink Digital Optical Audio 2-Meter Cable
Tripp Lite A102-02M 6ft Toslink Digital Optical Audio 2-Meter Cable

Pros: Cheap price for a 6 foot optical cable, does what it's supposed to do- deliver clean digital audio. Pretty thick insulation. Of course fast delivery from newegg (2 days)

Cons: None

Overall Review: Using to hook up my hdtv to my receiver for DD5.1 sound. Works like a charm. Will buy another down the road if needed. I wouldn't waste money on those high priced optical cables, these work just fine.

Love these Plugs, work Great with Cortana

TP-LINK HS105 Smart Plug Mini, Wi-Fi Enabled, Control Your Electronics from Anywhere, Energy Saving, Compatible with Google Home and Amazon Echo Alexa
TP-LINK HS105 Smart Plug Mini, Wi-Fi Enabled, Control Your Electronics from Anywhere, Energy Saving, Compatible with Google Home and Amazon Echo Alexa

Pros: Using 3 of these around the house. Have one used as a timer for the living room light, one controlling an outdoor fountain, one controlling a bedroom light. Using Cortana for voice control of the devices... "Hey Cortana, turn on the water fountain." No hub required, can control or check lights when away from home with phone.

Cons: None, setup is easy and does not block the outlets.

Overall Review: with they were a little thinner

G.Skill 64GB microSDXC UHS-I/U1 Class 10 Memory Card with Adapter (FF-TSDXC64GA-U1)

Cons: none

SAMSUNG 850 EVO 2.5" 500GB SATA III 32 layer 3D V-NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-75E500B/AM
SAMSUNG 850 EVO 2.5" 500GB SATA III 32 layer 3D V-NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-75E500B/AM

Pros: works great. Cloned an old Kingston 120gb V300 SSD to 850 Evo running windows 8.1 pro. Didn't notice any speed increases on my PC, about 10 seconds to boot up on fx 8350. Just needed extra space for my primary drive. Also replaced an old laptop 5400 rpm hdd running windows vista for my dad's pc with 850 evo. His boot time went from over 5 minutes down to about 25 seconds on a core 2 duo. Everything runs snappy on his laptop and he doesn't feel a need to buy a new laptop now.

Cons: No cable for cloning the SSD, just an issue for laptop guys. On my dads laptop running Vista, the cloning software wasn't recognizing the drive, used some corsair cable and software instead.

Overall Review: hope there are no issues about slow read speeds down the road like on the 840.

Corsair CSSD-UPGRADEKIT SSD & HDD Cloning Kit
Corsair CSSD-UPGRADEKIT SSD & HDD Cloning Kit

Pros: Very nice. 850 Evo didn't come with cable. Cloned a Kingston 120gb V300 SSD to a 500gb Samsung 850 Evo SSD that had Windows 8.1 Pro, took 10 minutes top, was running low on storage for my boot drive, PC is using amd fx8350, software formatted SSD for me as well. Also cloned my dads old 320GB HDD in his laptop to a 500gb Samsung 850 Evo SSD that was running Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit, his took 4 hours to clone, but that is probably due to having to use a USB 2.0 port and cloning from a 5400rmp drive or his core 2 duo, or stupid windows vista, but definitely not the cloning software. See other thoughts on cloning dad's laptop. Both PCs run flawlessly. Didn't notice any difference in boot times on my PC, but for my dad's laptop it now takes about 25 seconds compared to 5+ painful minutes. Needless to say he was impressed to see his laptop running as fast as it is now.

Cons: See above... I can't get my dad to upgrade to Windows 7 or 8. Fingers crossed for 10. Some people just like to punish themselves I guess.

Overall Review: Not sure what happened when trying to clone my dad's HDD to SSD, but it didn't work initially, kept freezing up when trying to select destination drive. Again it was a sluggish and old system he is running. I just hooked up the SSD to my PC, formatted the SSD, and plugged it back into his USB port and everything worked. Great tool to keep in your bag for trouble shooting friends HDDs You can plug this into old laptop HDDs or SSDs and use them as portable drives. Literally about 5 clicks to clone your drive..
