Replaced Belkin USB adapter
Pros: 5 minutes to install Speed test was in range of specs Not sure what all the install fuss from others was about My kid no longer complains about dropouts gaming, no need to run Ethernet cable to new location
Cons: Rosewill site is amateurish, just wanted driver so no big deal.
No Hardware
Pros: price but lacks hardware
Cons: Did not install as I do not have screws that will reach fan, and hold fan securely. Appears to restrict flow too much for tiny fans.
Not a professional mounting solution
Pros: I am sure the device would meet or exceed price point based on radiator quality (if it could mount securely).
Cons: - I chose to toss it in my parts bin because the 5 cents of polypropylene or nylon will not mount correctly. - This is a down grade to an intel stock fan. - The ring mount had NO lateral stability in conjunction with the soft mounting solution. - It is extremely difficult to snap in place and disaster waiting to happen if it does! I did not return as it was basically pulled apart and box was torn as I trusted Artic in the past.
Overall Review: Pass on this!! Any LGA115X solution with metal hardware will fit LGA1200.
This is the card you want
Pros: Great piece of engineering and soldering shows excellent quality at this price point. EVGA over packaged in heavy foam and thick anti-stat bag. Form factor easily fits ITX cases I have Drivers have come a long way since upgrade and act seamless Upgraded a GTX 1060 3 gb that stuttered and lagged.
Cons: Ray tracing is interesting but not astounding feature. More of an incremental game
Overall Review: This is the one you want. I am not a fan of frills on cards
Very Pleased; minor manufacturing details to consider
Pros: Appears to be best consumer ITX board for coffee lake in early 2018. I am not as price conscious as many new egg consumers and wanted to have this board for 5 years of service. Combo deal was seamless with I5 8600K and 16 GM LPX 3200. I wanted the heatsinks but not the leds so much . Fired up on very first post and bios was upgraded from USB on second try so very pleased. Intel Thunderbolt fully supported and tested at rated speeds. Case connectors are well placed. Crazy amount of sata connectors for ITX board. Just needed two. I may write AS Rock with picture for correct part but not huge deal. Graphics card seated very well in layout.
Cons: Backplate thunderbolt did not match template. Off position by three mils and I notched plate instead of moving port. Other devices are all dead center to face plate. I would like a correct one really.
Overall Review: As a side note PC would not reconnect on sleep to internet. I uninstalled Intel wireless driver support and turned off few Bitdefender intrusive features.
2K Gaming is acceptable
Pros: -I bought this with low expectation but with Volta around the corner and the 1070 150 usd more than a year ago I pased on a 1080 for now. I expected it to shutter and stall. I can tell difference but not really caring for now. My PC was built around upgrade for this in the future. -low power consumption, easy to install -fits ITX case easily
Cons: 10XX series is showing it's age with no real competition, but honestly Nvidia knows there is no market past 4K gaming at 100 fps.
Worst on NewEgg
I would encorage NewEgg to do a review of IvgStores for continuation as a distributor. I am filing fraud charge from painfully slow credit to card from refund.
