For the price - zero complaints!
Pros: *Large 17.3: HD LED Screen *Built in webcam for Skype users *Numeric keypad built in *7-in-1 media card reader *Great desktop replacement *Light for its size
Cons: *Spongy keyboard *Shared 4GB memory for Video Card (Gamers beware!) *Wireless N only available by purchasing mini-card *Absolutely NO software or manuals.. Windows 7 DVD is NOT included! * Speaker location under laptop
Overall Review: The integrated video card the left lower side of the keyboard is gets very hot so keeping it on your lap might be only good to do in the winter time. Buy the 9-cell battery from Dell if you plan on keeping the beast alive for longer periods of time. The 6-cell included holds up for about 3-4 hours.. Final words: Uninstall all bloatware and get Microsoft Security Essentials for your anti-virus. I am not sure what to do about not having the OEM Windows 7 DVD. I am sure you won't be disappointed.
Free: worth less than that
Pros: It is white
Cons: Charged one day.. broke the next.. hmm.. wonder why NewEgg was giving away for free???? To make it seem like it was worth something more than free!
Overall Review: Not sure what to do with it.. threw out the box.. cannot return.. don't consider this any type of item to make you purchase something that you did not want to start with..
Failed after 4 months
Pros: Good, while it lasted.. After only 4 months in my HP Pavilion laptop to replace a 100 GB drive the 250GB crapped out.. since it has a 5 year warranty it should be replaced.. but it will need to reinstalled so I am not really happy with it.
Cons: Dead in 4 months time. I do have a backup .. but it wqill take my time to reprep and reinstall all the apps prior to restoring the data files..
Let's just say I was lucky to be a light sleeper...
Pros: Charges Ipods/ 2 alarms
Cons: Umm, smoke and burning smell, feels like it is cheaply made..
Overall Review: Well, I am wondering why it was taken off newegg so fast.. opefull nobody else has the same problem I had... First night plugged in.. at 3:00 in the morning.. I was awoken to a smell of burning plastic and electronics.. luckily I woke up to unplug and put in the tub until the next moring to RMA it back to newegg.
Easy to use and setup
Pros: 24 Ports plus two specials Managed and web-based portal Easy to view 100/1000 led displays Quiet Multiuser admin support QoS/VoIP support
Cons: None really, other then you better not forget your username and password.. there is NO recovery tool and you will need to force-reset and build configs from scratch...
Overall Review: These units fit the bill for any small business that will also use for VoIP. They come pre-configured for QoS service and have the ability to allow for ganging ports to allow for greater bandwidth between two or more switches. The web-based configuration utility has many features that will make it easier to troubleshoot a particular port via the error/diagnostic features. It also also you to goto a port to view all activity and shut it down in case of a breach, etc.
