This review is from: Link Depot DVI-AVGA-ADPT DVI To VGA Adapter
Pros: It transmits the signal and I can see my screen.
Cons: Produces a blurry image compared to my real DVI cable.
The colors are washed out.
Other Thoughts: I would skip this product unless you have no choice.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I recently purchased the original Nexus 7 a day or two before this newer version was released. I promptly returned the original for this and I'm so glad I did.
It's extremely responsive. Before, when switching to the Task Manager screen it took maybe 1-2 seconds. Now, with this model, it's instant. I can play all games I want to, and have multiple things going at once with no problem, so far.
It doesn't come with any bloated apps (unless you consider google apps like Maps and Hangouts useless) and even with the 16 Gb model I feel like I have quite a lot of room to play with. Especially since with the USB cable I can connect to my PC to unload or load things!
The thing charges it's battery extremely quickly. I charged it from 50% to 96% in under 2 hours through the usb to outlet.
The screen is as wonderful as you are hearing. Very bright and responsive. I can't really see the individual pixels with my aging eyes. And the speakers are very loud; I usually keep them down to 50%.
I'm very glad to have the camera on the back, as well as the front. It's a 5MP camera that takes stills and video that are good.
All of that at this price point is a no-brainer.
Cons: It's possible my router is the culprit, but without changing any router settings this newer model Nexus 7 seems to be slower in the wireless speed department. I'm not really doing any real testing or experimenting, but it just seems a bit slower to me. It's not a Dual Band router, tho.
Really, I just want my youtube videos to load faster. Hah!
Would really, really like to see an microSD card slot in this thing.
Other Thoughts: The packaging is very nice and subtle. Everything fits nicely inside the box and came to me in perfect condition.
As an aside, when you first turn the tablet on some of the features won't work properly and may cause Android to crash. Simply make sure you connect to Wifi and update to 4.3, because it may have shipped with 4.2. After that everything works perfectly. Even my 5 year old niece was snapping 100 shots a second on the camera.
Buy an ASUS travel cover! It feels great and adds a ton of protection.
Pros: I was somewhat surprised by these headphones. They are very clear and deep. I don't know precisely how to explain it, but you get the full range of sound. Compared to my $30 headphones I was suddenly shocked by the difference.
Even better, I got these free for buying a new tablet!
Another good thing (though I could see it also being negative in certain situations) the headphones have a tight grip, yet are still comfy for medium to long periods of time. After a full day of using them I do tend to get a small headache near my temples.
Cons: - A little tight, can cause headache after 8 hours or so
- Mic isn't all that great
Not worth losing an egg.
Other Thoughts: All in all it's a nice headset, and it's got an inline mic, so you can use it with a tablet, etc.
Arrived on time, as usual!
