GARMIN 3.5" GPS Navigation
GARMIN 3.5" GPS Navigation

Pros: Very sturdy machine. Case is good at protecting it, and the stand for the windshield is easy to use and holds it on there very well. It gives good clear directions, re-calculates when you go off course, and so far has not let me down.

Cons: There was one REALLY cloudy day out, that caused the garmin to have trouble picking up satellites. The main issue with this, is that we were headed to somewhere we hadn't been before, and it didn't start working til we got there. Obviously tho you can't expect the device to always be spot on, cause it works the rest of the 99% in my experience, but it sucked...

Overall Review: Bought it when it was on sale for $140ish. Very good buy, glad I got it. I actually bought it as a gift for my Dad, and I'll be buying myself one before long. With a bit more shopping I'm sure you can find a bigger one and a later model, but for the time when I got it, it was deff worth the buy.

Onkyo

ONKYO HT-S3400 5.1 Home Theater System
ONKYO HT-S3400 5.1 Home Theater System

Pros: Very nice and sleek design of the entire device. Looks to be very well put together. The speaker wire it comes with is long enough for your average room imo. Hanging the speakers using a small nail wasn't difficult or scary at all (Not scared of them falling) It has tons of HDMI support, so if you're gonna setup using HDMI it's great. At the time I'm buying this I just have an old CRT tv, but I'll be upgrading to a flat screen soon. Currently I'm just going to setup a secondary computer (to play music off of remotely) until that time though, waiting for an HDMI cable and my SPDIF to come in though, so unless that gives me trouble it's generally super easy. Just be sure to set up everything in the right spot and the default naming convention for the remote / system works great (aka put the game console in the game port, or tv in the tv port blahblah).

Cons: This was my first surround sound system with a receiver like this, so I've been learning for the first time as I go with a couple of things for how I want my system setup. That being said, figuring out all the different listening modes required some time of listening to the radio / tv and going through and changing settings until it sounded good enough. Given, that with my old CRT tv I temporarily have, the sound from the tv was garbage, but it's legacy technology on a notlegacyatall system, so I know the quality will go way up. Overall I think the learning curve is easily overcame with some play time. It doesn't come with any HDMI, SPDIF, or Coax cables to hook up tvs or anything. So anything outside of the system itself you're hooking it up to, be sure and get the proper cables you need. It's not a super big deal for me cause i'm waiting to purchase a flat screen, but hooking up the PC for music has just taken longer than I want. Being more prepared would have told me all this.

Overall Review: If you're gonna hook up a PC like I am, it helps to know if your Video card supports Audio drivers with no help. My main computer which has a GTX 560ti has them so an HDMI cable would do both video and audio when I came to hooking it up, but my secondary computer which has a 9800gtx requires a gimmick cable that the video card never came with (Or I foolishly lost) which is why I'm using the digital SPDIF for the sound. Again, this was all learned as I went, so perhaps it'll help someone out.

i-rocks KR-6260-BK Black 104 Normal Keys USB or PS/2 Wired Standard 24 Keys Anti Ghosting Gaming Keyboard

Pros: Very nice keyboard. I'm a big fan of the 'mechanical' feeling of the keyboard and how I feel like I'm pressing the buttons which is solid.

Cons: My only complaints could be the backspace key (It's half a backspace key, and the \ and | key above the enter key is filling the left half of a normal backspace) and the enter key now takes up a normal enter key and the | and \ key spot. It does take some getting used to, but overall a small adjustment, certainly not worth an egg deduct. It says it's anti ghosting, but I have noticed atleast one key combo it can't do. If you're playing a game that lets you jump (spacebar) and have an action key assigned to Shift + the number 4, it won't read it. It reads many others, but not that one. I'm just a habit jumper in games though.

PNY GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card VCGGTX560TXPB-OC2-S
PNY GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card VCGGTX560TXPB-OC2-S

Pros: It's a very nice card. I usually go with EVGA just because it's a known good brand with myself, but I decided to try PNY out because of the price ($200 for me) and it came with a free preorder of the Batman game. I'm able to run all my programs at Ultra High settings and I've noticed a significant improvement on general video media being easier to run since upgrading from my 9800gtx. If I wouldn't have had to up my PSU I certainly would have gotten two of them.

Cons: None

Exactly what I needed

WD Elements 2TB Desktop External Hard Drive
WD Elements 2TB Desktop External Hard Drive

Pros: It's a solid, fast drive. I use it to backup my internal 1tb drive that has all my data on it and just use a sync program keep everything correct. Drive works fine, didn't give me any issues hooking up or formatting.

Cons: I really would have liked ESata or Firewire options. Not enough to lose an egg over though.

Overall Review: I got it for a discount deal for around $100 when I bought it, so I got it super quick and had no issues.
