Pros: I don't have much experience with sound bars. However, I was unhappy with the sound from my Samsung 32" Smart TV and was looking for an inexpensive sound bar to provide better quality sound. I was a little hesitant purchasing a refurbished one, but decided to take a chance. I was not disappointed. This is a very nice sound bar. The sound quality is noticeably better than the TV speakers. I specifically like being able to control turning the sound bar on and off, and controlling the volume, using the TV remote (I purchased an HDMI cable for this purpose as the TV supported this feature). The sound bar comes with a remote that permits the control of features the sound bar has, including: surround sound settings, an automatic sound leveling feature, and sound settings for "Music", "News", "Drama", "Cinema", "Sports", and "Game" and the ability to switch back to the TV's speakers. The sound bar also has a USB connector which can be used to play .mp3 files from a flash drive. The remote has additional controls for this feature. I'm sure there are higher quality sound bars available, but for the money, I believe this more than serves the purpose.

Cons: I didn't find the sound leveling feature worked all that well, but to be honest, I haven't used it extensively, yet.

Overall Review: I'd recomment this sound bar for anyone looking for an inexpensive improvement over their TV's speakers.
