worth the $

EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER KO GAMING Video Card, 08G-P4-2072-KR, 8GB GDDR6, Dual Fans
EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER KO GAMING Video Card, 08G-P4-2072-KR, 8GB GDDR6, Dual Fans

Pros: easy setup. already had drivers installed coming from a 1050 Ti. cranked Witcher 3, Tarkov, Valorant, etc.. any non-rtx games maxed out @ 1080p 144hz. tried out Quake 2 RTX, definitely taxing on it (around 45fps-50fps, playable but dang) I think its kinda cool that Quake 2 is a tool for it, the settings in that can be adjusted for higher frames with some RTX features if you desire them. I'm sure this will be the case with future games. update: after about 2 weeks with it, Star Citizen and a few other games maxed out ~ never goes above 65 C

Cons: none, a little pricey. didn't mind at the time though

Overall Review: if you have the money, feel free to upgrade. if you feel like waiting, theres also nothing wrong with that! i'd recommend this card if you want a middle ground between the 2080Ti, or wait for the new line of RTX cards

Works fine

Pros: This is my 2nd ever build - Ryzen 5 3600 setup. CPU Fans for me are usually tricky; i'm sure many would agree that while putting on a CPU heatsink/fan, tighten each screw evenly, not completely. Screw one screw in just a little bit, then follow with the others, then tighten them all entirely. I did struggle a bit, but its working great. Its been about 5 months now, working just fine. - The heatsink is pretty similar to an EVO cooler, so I'm familiar with how it goes on. - The fan goes up when I play games, or access any programs that are intensive (Ableton, Sony Vegas) .. remains around ~1300 when idle. Goes up to about ~2150 when i'm playing games. - Came with one fan and the brackets to put them on. The push-pull seems to work just fine with my temps. I usually idle around 40-50 C (my room gets cold) I never really go past 70 ever while doing anything.

Cons: -Wasn't free

Overall Review: I'd recommend if you're on a budget. If you have a little more money, try to get another fan to tack on with the extra bracket it comes with.

Works, Thanks to the Reviews

Pros: Downloaded and installed the RTL8192CE-VA4 drivers. I used the drivers that came with the package, however I was experiencing some serious rubberbanding in BF4 and occasionally in other games I'd lag a lot. However, those drivers made the BIGGEST difference. Download them.

Cons: None after reading the reviews.

Overall Review: The antennas are quite sturdy.

Kicks some..

AMD FX-6300 - FX-6000 Series Vishera 6-Core 3.5 GHz Socket AM3+ 95W Desktop Processor - FD6300WMHKBOX
AMD FX-6300 - FX-6000 Series Vishera 6-Core 3.5 GHz Socket AM3+ 95W Desktop Processor - FD6300WMHKBOX

Pros: First AMD build. Loving the results. I'm not much of an overclocker, however from reading a few of the other reviews, I'd say I'd wanna kick it up to 4.0 GHZ. However I'm not sure if that would fly on a 430W PSU (Corsair 430M Bronze Certified). Unless someone else has tried it on a similar PSU, I'm not overclocking. Does pack a punch and video/audio production + gaming is perfect.

Cons: None. I didn't use the stock cooler, looked useless in comparison to the other ones I saw online. From what I hear, these things get hot, and oh yeah. I can thank my EVO 212 for calming the CPU down. Got 2 case fans, 2 fans on the GPU (R9 270 Windforce) and one on the heatsink. Boom.

Overall Review: Kinda nervous being that it's my first build, let alone with AMD. Haha

Love It

Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4 Keyboard - Retail
Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4 Keyboard - Retail

Pros: Feels great coming from a stock keyboard, that's for sure. Takes a bit of getting used to, love the LED as its quite useful for gaming in the dark when roommates are sleeping. Speaking of which, the keys are not very loud neither which is a plus.

Cons: The drivers. At first it was installed properly, but then my Deathadder started acting up by switching on and off over and over again. If you have this issue, just unplug your mouse and restart the computer.. plug it back in. Should be fine.

Overall Review: I haven't got around to use the macro keys yet. I haven't touched any MMOs or FPSs that needed them. Unless I'd wanna make some goofy binds.

Does the job

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler, 4 CDC Heatpipes, 120mm PWM Fan, Aluminum Fins for AMD Ryzen/Intel LGA1200/1151
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler, 4 CDC Heatpipes, 120mm PWM Fan, Aluminum Fins for AMD Ryzen/Intel LGA1200/1151

Pros: Literally the thing eats up the heat (I'm on a AMD FX-6300) as I can feel it on the side of the case. On idle the CPU runs at about 25 C And the max load never really hits anything about 60 C (its quite cool in my room) during gaming. I'm satisfied.

Cons: It was a bit confusing to install this on my CPU, perhaps its because its my first build and its an AMD build. Nonetheless, not having any problems at all.

Overall Review: Runs super quiet, it barely picks up on my condenser mic when doing stuff in DAWs.
