Most Critical Review

Good mobo, but wish there was more

ASUS ROG STRIX B450-I GAMING AM4 AMD B450 USB 3.1 HDMI Mini ITX AMD Motherboard
ASUS ROG STRIX B450-I GAMING AM4 AMD B450 USB 3.1 HDMI Mini ITX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Small and compact. Almost everything is in a good enough distance to plugin. It was straight forward plugging in everything that needed to be plugged in. The BIOS had the recent version (3004), which supports the 3000 series CPU from AMD. No need to flash.

Cons: Wish the booklet was in English. Front Audio was further away than I thought. Wish had one more fan header. Wish the OVA list for the motherboard was a bit more straightforward, referring to the site of ASUS.

Overall Review: I ordered this back when it was marked as backlogged. Once I received it, I checked to make sure everything was fine. Then I noticed the booklet was in, what I assume was Chinese. If I was a person who was building their PC for the first time, I would of have been lost and unsure where to go. I don't know if I was a rare case or what. Aside from that, the front audio I didn't bother to plug in, as I am unsure how to route it. The front audio was just long enough, but it look like it would of put strain on the cable (Phantek Mini ITX case). The Motherboard won't pick up the profile of my ram. It detects the profile, but when trying to tune it to that setting, it would power cycle a bit before setting it back to 2133. OVA list seems to be a bit lacking. It starts off with 3400, which only shows 1. The list doesn't fully expand until you get into the 3600+ range. I understand that new Ryzen loves higher clocked ram. 3200 is more of a sweet spot. If a kit that says on the memory's website (Gskill) says it works, but the motherboard's site doesn't start at 3200... I tried the AMD RAM calculator, but that seems not to work either. So I guess I got a board or memory that don't play well with each other. RGB is something this board has little of. If you want to go for lack of lighting, then this would work. The only thing the board has for lighting is along the 24pin side. That can be turned off in the BIOS. I wished the board would turn off those lights when the PC is powered off, by default. The board only have three 4-pin headers for fans, one being the CPU. Which leaves you with 2. If you plan on using this in a case that has more fans, pick up a fan spliter.

Massive and heavy, but lovable

Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X PH-ES518XTG_DBK01 Satin Black Aluminum / Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X PH-ES518XTG_DBK01 Satin Black Aluminum / Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: -Strong and well built case - fan controller built in - easy to expand on upgrades

Cons: -Missing PSU dust cover -Wish there was a map of screws inside of the toolbox (only exists in manual) -Wish there was an extra or two thumb screw for the doors

Overall Review: It is a lovely looking case and it is quite massive. As big as old case of mines. The lights on it are bright and vibrate. The doors are heavy and thick, while the case is well built. Be Careful when opening the case when it is empty. Due to the doors being heavy, it may cause the case to lean to the side the door open.

Beautiful Board

MSI MEG X570 ACE Gaming Motherboard AMD AM4 SATA 6Gb/s M.2 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Wi-Fi 6 ATX
MSI MEG X570 ACE Gaming Motherboard AMD AM4 SATA 6Gb/s M.2 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Wi-Fi 6 ATX

Pros: Great Build quality

Cons: 4 SATA ports can hurt if you want more than four drives Location of USB type-C is a bit further away from my liking.

Overall Review: Looks wise, it looks great, even for the price point. The heat shielding on the m.2 does seem to help with transferring heat. It feels like a strong board within the hands, as well quite heavy. This board is a good option if you don't feel like buying the Godlike. Having the built in Wifi and BT, is a nice addition to the board. While having the antenna able to be routed around, is a nice touch as well This is the second MSI board I used in a build.

Better then Stock cooler

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler, 4 CDC Heatpipes, 120mm PWM Fan, Aluminum Fins for AMD Ryzen/Intel LGA1200/1151
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler, 4 CDC Heatpipes, 120mm PWM Fan, Aluminum Fins for AMD Ryzen/Intel LGA1200/1151

Pros: I have an AMD CPU, and you kno how hot those get. This was a great deal to replace that silly stock cooler. It is pretty much keepin my computer quite due to the low RPM. Sure it is a bit big, but best to have a full size case to make sure it fits

Cons: None that I can think of, other then I wish the container that had the tools, were label. The instructions for the AMD showed one set of screws (round body ones), but screws that wroked, were the ones that are shown in the intel. So might be a good idea to label the tool container, Cooler Master.

Overall Review: Just be careful taking the fan off. Depends out you take it, the metal fins might cut you. Found out the hard way.

Better then what I thought

LG 25UM56-P 25" Class 21:9 UltraWide IPS Gaming Monitor 2560 x 1080 5ms GTG 60Hz 5,000,000:1 Contrast Ratio with Black Stabilizer and Dynamic Action Link, SRGB Over 99% and 4-Screen Split

Pros: Got this when it was on sale for 199.99 + 20 off and that was the BEST deal I got for this little guy. Thought it would be too small, but guess I was wrong on that. Easy to hook up though the HDMI and not to mention that super fast shipping. Super fast, I mean 24hr shipping. Quality of the screen, as well the lighting, is great as well.

Cons: Only gripe I have. wish the power cable was a little bit longer. This is somewhat compare to other screen that had a brick style for the power. It is not a bad thing or anything, but make sure you have some extra extension cables or somethin around. But that is just me

Overall Review: I kno some others were sayin somethin about audio being bad/not work. By the time of this review. I can't get the speakers (on the display)to work, but the pass though (the 35mm jack on the back) works well. My thoughts it is somethin regards of the driver or something, but then again best to use normal speakers then speakers built into a display.
