Pros: -good quick start manual and what i appreciate most; real simple setup.
-no dropped connections
-lots of options if you want them; guest account being the most useful in my opinion.
-two usb 2.0 connections.
-best router i have tried under $100 and just as good as routers i have tried over $200.
-excellent signal strength;
setup a homegroup network on an older laptop (wireless)/desktop (wired) which both where approx 40 feet from router and through a plaster wall/basement floor. i still got five bars and 2.38 MB/s transfers.
Cons: absolutely none at this price point.
Other Thoughts: tp-link is now a brand worth serious consideration.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: TP-LINK Archer T8E AC1750 Wireless Dual Band PCI Express Adapter IEEE 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11n, IEEE 802.11g, IEEE 802.11b PCI Express Up to 1.3Gbps Wireless Data Rates
Pros: software installed and uninstalled without issue.
reception is excellent.
Cons: not supported on my dell 690 workstation which is rock solid and runs even fussy pci-e ssds without issue, tried disabling quick start in bios but did not help;
-bios hung for over one minute then posted.
-windows 7 start screen hung for over one minute then loaded.
-upon reboot windows stated corrupted or missing boot sector.
-removed Archer T8e and all was fine again, my best guess is there is no legacy support built in the rom.
This review is from: TP-LINK RE200 AC750 Universal Wireless Dual Band Range Extender (Wall Plug)
Pros: quick start manual is great and it only took a couple minutes to setup.
boosted my wifi signal in the far corner of the basement from 3 bars up to 5!
i presently have mine boosting wifi and running a workstation tower on the supplied ethernet cable which works perfectly with no slowdown.
Other Thoughts: tp-link is quickly becoming a name i can trust and now take a hard look at their offerings.READ FULL REVIEW
