Awesome

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition - Phenom II X4 Deneb Quad-Core 3.4 GHz Socket AM3 125W Processor - HDZ965FBGMBOX
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition - Phenom II X4 Deneb Quad-Core 3.4 GHz Socket AM3 125W Processor - HDZ965FBGMBOX

Pros: >Well, it's a quad core processor...and it's 3.4 Ghz. RUNS REALLY FAST!!! >Probably a better choice until they come out with x6 processors that run at a faster clock speed than 3.2Ghz >Cheap for what it is. >Comes with prettiest fan and heat sink I have ever seen that was a stock item...I have seen cooler non-stock though

Cons: I guess the fan is a little load, but not too bad. It gives the feel of more power. The motherboard I have controls the fan speed based on what I tell it I want it optimized for, so it is quieter when necessary.

Overall Review: A CPU this good has to have a good motherboard too! So don't skimp on that. I'd recommend this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131646 It's a good base for a fast system.

Get this

ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 AM3 AMD 880G SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: >A lot of extras that are easy to use >Easy OC >Has a bootable disk that allows you to access the internet and do some other stuff without installing the OS...so if you are in a hurry... >Really awesome looking

Cons: Hate to say that there are no cons, so let me think of one.... >I guess the EATX connectors and SATA connectors could be in a better place, but that is really just dependent on your case.

Overall Review: Integrated graphics card is good...but it is integrated. Will get you on your feet if you can't afford a PCIE card yet. >This is a good motherboard to get if you want something that is high tech and won't be obsolete for a little while. Some boards come with the added benefit of being obsolete already...not this one.

Pretty Awesome

RAIDMAX Scorpio ATX-868WBP Black 0.8mm Japanese SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 420watts PS2 ATX12V Power Supply
RAIDMAX Scorpio ATX-868WBP Black 0.8mm Japanese SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 420watts PS2 ATX12V Power Supply

Pros: Very nice looking and well built for the price, I'd highly recommend it . . . if your are on a budget.

Cons: >Didn't include enough motherboard risers...but enough to make it work. >Only has one SATA power connection, so I had to buy a Molex to SATA power converter...like $5 so it's not that bad.

Overall Review: Routing cables to hide them was actually surprisingly easy. >I made the n00b mistake of thinking my mobo connector was too small, but the 24 pin hookup is in two pieces. So remember to check it and find the 2 parts with arrows, they form the long mobo connector. If you are not careful, you may mistake it for an EATX connector and plug it into the EATX slot... > You can route the fans through one Molex connector off the PSU, just connect them all in series (all the fans have and input and output connector) >420 watts isn't much, but I am able to run 16 gigs of DDR3, Phenon II 3.4Ghz X4, DVD drive, a 1TB 6.0Gbps hdd and an ATI 5670 GPU
