Pros: Very good value priced notebook from Acer. Excellent wide screen with great picture. Full size keyboard and easy to use touchpad. Wireless access is top rate and easily set up. The AMD mobile Sempron 3000+ gives you all the power necessary to do everyday tasks and some gaming in your offtime. Thumbs up also goes to NewEgg for the quick order processing and fast service.

Cons: Upgrade your memory as soon as possible. 256mb is definately not enough to run XP home or Pro. At least 512 is required. The included battery only gives you a good hour of life, so make sure you have access to a plug in or work fast. See Below

Overall Review: Since the video uses 64MB of your installed memory, I suggest a minimum memory upgrade to 768MB or 1GB. There are (2) memory slots available which is not always the case with most laptops.

Pros: Excellent Company Brand

Cons: Had to return for replacement in less than a month. Had burned about 5 DVD's and it quit about 3/4 of the way into another disk burn. Would not even recognize whenever a pre-recorded DVD was put into the burner.

Overall Review: I know Plextor is a good brand, must have received a defective burner. I will let you know after I receive the replacement.
