This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W 80 PLUS BRONZE Active PFC ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply
Pros: One of the two worked.
Cons: The other PSU caused screen tearing. This was frustrating because it wasn't obvious the PSU was at fault until I had time (and money) to replace the computer's GPU and Moba.
Other Thoughts: Corsair has two strikes on their record with me and I don't think I want to let them get to strike three. Their the only manufacturer I've had a RAM issue with and now this.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Did what I expected. Looks great.
Cons: The way the settings are it can be a little confusing. There are 3 modes Low/Hi and Eco. Low/High I believe to be just "fan" settings because they're both set to 86 to default. Eco is just lower heat set to 68 by default.
Other Thoughts: If you trip over it or tip it in some way it beeps and shuts off.
If you turn it off, it'll run the fan for 3 minutes afterward to use up the heat remaining.
This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Nice specs
Cons: Has been slowly dying. First the Ethernet port died so I had to buy an external card. Now the computer turns back on instantly after shutdown (I've replaced the PSU so that's not the issue). Now I need to find a replacement board. :(READ FULL REVIEW
