after some tweaking...
Pros: Did some digging and found the drive was setup in IDE mode instead of AHCI. I'm now getting read speeds around 310. still docking an egg for the description not saying it requires micro sata
Cons: micro sata, no installation guide to troubleshoot the poor speed problem
Look Elsewhere
Pros: Decent price, ample connections
Cons: As others here have described, the PSU failes after 2-4 months and gives you the 'no hdmi' message on screen. Replaced PSU, all runs fine now. If you have anything more than a barebones system, you know it's a complete pain to unhook and replace a PSU. If you buy this, be ready to do it within 6 months.
Overall Review: x4 AMD 635 2x 6850 MSI 870s-654 No, it wasn't pulling enough power to make this guy burn out, it's just faulty.
Good value
Pros: You get a 79xx board that's slightly crippled but a much better deal than buying a 7950. Also, this can be OC very easily and CF with a 7950, making it a good choice for those who prefer to upgrade gradually.
Cons: Runs a little hot, must be careful with how you have fans setup.
Overall Review: Be very careful how you have your fans setup with this card. The fan blows air onto the card and it vents from all sides - meaning you can't have air blowing at the card from the side or hot air will get trapped in the area. With my 2x 6850s, I had several internal fans blowing directly onto them with good results; with this card however, it caused overheating issues. Instead, place the cards blowing to the top of the card and sucking out air from the sides and bottom. After making that change with my LanBoy Air case setup my temps during overclock dropped by 10*
it works
Pros: oem replacement
Cons: none
it is what it is
Pros: it's what I ordered.
Cons: none
No problems
Pros: Purchased 3 to store movies for our DVD players, works like a charm, no power cord needed.
Cons: Have to purchase usb3.0 upgrade separately
