Gigantic Card, Gigantic Performance
Pros: This card can play any game I can throw at it. Crysis on full resolution, all settings on highest (for XP) except anti-aliasing on 4xQ (of course their are other factors besides the video card). Crysis FPS, I don't have an exact number, but as far as I can perceive it is around 30-60FPS. I only noticed a little lag when a frozen boat sitting in the jungle, during a cut scene. Crysis is a beast. The fan is powerful and can really blow. On full speed it went from 60'C to 47'C in under 2 minutes (just running XP). In game it stays around 60'C. This card can do.
Cons: The card is gigantic. I mean, i wasn't sure how I would fit it in my case. I could probably use this thing for golfing. I would say that it would likely NOT fit in a smaller case. The fan is half-way covered by my processor's heatsink. I was worried about overheating because of the blockage but it never really goes above 60'C and when the fan is running full blast it gets down to the low 50's. Video cards can handle heat better than CPU's so 60'C is fine. But this card is huge...
Overall Review: You'll need a separate case to SLI this thing /sarcasm. If you are upgrading from a single slot to this beast, you'll be wowed, I know I was. All in all it's a great deal for the price, and the die-shrink is efficient. Although wait till early '09 and you should be able to get the next step up. But this card will last awhile.
Well...
Pros: It was free.
Cons: I didn't want it.
Did not work
Pros: I was refunded quickly without having to return the product.
Cons: It did not work. It would only make a high pitch whirring sound when connected to the N3DS.
Overall Review: The Nintendo official charger sells at Target for $12.
