Pros: None

Cons: Obviously no Quality control or Quality Assurance. The contact surface was not uniformly flat. On either side of each Cu pipe was a valley or trench more than 1/64 inch deep and full 1/32 inch gap between pipe and aluminum. The surface wasn't ground far enough.

Overall Review: Just installed the VortexPlus earlier this month. Second time using CoolerMaster- 1st was a 212EVO. The vortex was installed on AMD PhenomII 965. Idle temps 50-54c with case cover off. After installing OEM cooler- 34-36c @idle. I hesitated to install the vortex but just figured they knew what they doing. Know better now. A cooler has one function- to COOL and it did not. Wouldn't let me upload great photo.

Pros: rich color, 3 ports, thin bezel

Cons: HDMI port will not operate @ manufacturer recommended resolution 1920x 1080. Could only attain 1680x1050

Overall Review: LG supervisor blames- video card, cables or driver. No way cause VGA works @ 1920. Well it test it every way with multiple cables and proved that it is the HDMI port. I've heard from my cable supplier lvl2 tech guy he personally has had trouble with LG monitor as well. Shame on them. No longer LG for me.

Pros: These are not desktops as far as performance goes for heavy duty work. For light common tasks - word processing and spreadsheet, web browsing, Email, etc. they are easily up to the task. Mobility a plus however-ck cons. Battery endurance -satisfactory.

Cons: The 2 PED's are used as mobil computers- I mean simply they are brought to work and used as laptops would be. The 1015PEM is used in home as a desktop - simply sits in one spot and moved infrequently. I point this out because one PED's has been RMA'd 3 times and hasn't been repaired (computer pin for charger connection arcing) correctly. The other PED doesn't accept a charge (determined it is the computer not battery or adapter). I can't say mobility is the cause but it is clearly a usage difference. Not acceptable for a mobil device.

Overall Review: The 1015PEM has performed w/o issues. ASUS Service has been extremely deficient in performance and QA. Each return right out of box - in seconds did not work properly. 3 times same exact issue. Simply unacceptable. I generously give one star because I went through their Service procedure 3 times begining Feb. 21 and still not a working unit. And now have 2 non-working units.
