Pros: -10 programmable buttons.
-Lots of profile customization ability.
-auto profile switching on the fly, smart program.
-The pinky button is revolutionary, why don't more mouses have it?
-Buttons are in all the right places
-Can go wired or wireless, but I'm oldschool and like wired.
-An awesome charger although I never use, good to have.
-Hardware embedded programmability, so it will work with ALL apps unlike its younger legendary brother.
Cons: -Only 10 programmable buttons. 10 is a lot I know, but hey I can always use more.
-I wish that sensitivity switch button could be programmed.
-It has a WOW logo, ugh. I think they could've made a hell of a lot more money from this mouse if they hadn't of branded it for WOW.
-No thumbscroll. I know, no other mouse other than the mmo/rat7 has this but once I tried it I just got hooked. Too bad the rest of the mmo/rat7 is just horrible.
-Installation is a freaking hassle. You do NOT need to install the firmware, just the software. I didn't know this, and the manual said to install the firmware first. WRONG!! Just install the software otherwise you'll get install errors. Firmware update don't work anyway, don't think it ever did.
Other Thoughts: Although there are a few cons, they are easy to overlook and the pros just totally overshadow them. It can be better, but for now it is the BEST mouse ever to have been created. I have tried many mouses from the cheapest of the cheap to mouses that cost hundreds of dollars in pursuit of the ultimate gaming mouse. This is THE mouse you want, and you're welcome --I just saved you tons of cash and effort in searching.
Also, I only briefly tried wireless but I got this itch to keep the battery fully charged at all times. I know, it's strange, but that's why I keep it wired. But in the few times I did go wireless, there were no issues with lag/disconnects. And there is virtually no hiccups/lags that I have experienced thus far having owned this mouse for about a year. I don't know how or why other people seem to be having a problem with this mouse lagging/disconnecting and my only thought is that perhaps it is their computer and not their mouse. I know a lot of people who complain about stuff not working on their computer and it's mainly because they don't take care of their computer(clean/virus check/malware scan/registry defrag/registry clean etc). Or just have extremely outdated hardware.
Pros: Burns blu ray, and bdxl
Cons: Shady advertisement misleads you into thinking that it burns m disks. It only reads it.
Other Thoughts: Since all dvd/blu ray drives current and old will play m disc, why the hell does lg advertise "m disc support?" It's like a tree salesman saying "But these trees support oxygen!" in an attempt to confuse and trick you into thinking you're buying the only tree in the world that creates oxygen.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Okay, I bought this monitor a week ago, and it is superb. No ghosting etc, super smooth.
Just look up my older review for the pros.
Cons: Okay now for the con, a BIG one. Okay maybe 2 if you include their non existant customer support.
I just decided to watch my first youtube vid a few days ago, and WHAT THE EFF man! The movie/video is dark! I tried all sorts of formats and they are all super dark!!
I was gaming for a week and so thats fine. Only the movies play really dark, if this is a feature, you DONT WANT IT! I even adjusted all the settings on the monitor.
I played movies on my old monitor and they never went dark. So I know it's some kind of stupid feature only for this monitor, makes movies unwatchable. Games/apps/web surfing isn't affected though.
Other Thoughts: Great for gaming, but if you ever want to watch youtube or any videos, go somewhere else. Why would they make a stupid feature to ruin such a great monitor?!!READ FULL REVIEW
