Pros: upon install computer went through one cycle of unfamiliar hardware, let windows 7 repair it and started up within 5 minutes of install, super easy, and ran a cpu test program and was all immediately recognized. the heat shields made it worth getting this over 4 individual 1GB pieces that would have saved $10-$20. oh and the speed on my unit has increased, JUST a bit ha ha
