Pros: Very good price for a hybrid drive.

Cons: - No significant difference in windows 7 boot time. - Very poor Sequential Write operations. - Struggles with VMware work station work loads. Running one VM can bring performance to the point you need wait and click one task at a time.. Steady HD light on and performance very low. - Not sure how the 8 GB SSD caching works. There is no way to tell. Even system at Idle time to time the HD light stays on and you can see System resources are struggle for HD resources. - Not as advertised. I believe the advertisement is misleading and do not think this will increase performance as they advertised here. - Performs up to 5× faster than a traditional 5400-RPM HDD - false advertisement, under what work load and work criteria its 5 times faster. Read performance is not 5x faster. When launching a VM it takes very long time for the VM to come up and have to wait a good 5 min before I can start clicking on the desktop icons or open my computer.

Overall Review: Please do not advertise this drive being 5x faster than regular drive. I still cannot tell what performance increase I got over the 7200 RPM drive that was in this Lenovo laptop. My boot time did not increase and VM performance is really slow. I think advertisement is misleading. I would like to see real benchmarks showing performance increase while running VMs.
