really fast
Pros: really fast, energy efficient
Cons: none
Overall Review: If you're gonna purchase a new PC in the next 6 months or so and you need a dual core setup, YOU NEED TO GET THIS!!!
really tricky
Pros: fast, smooth frame rates on most of my games
Cons: display drivers that come in the box are terrible. Really tricky to update the drivers
Overall Review: if you have a broadband internet connection, I would recommend this video card. If you have a dial-up connection, under no circumstances should you get this card
sound is very poor
Pros: The resolution is good for making youtube videos. for 30$, what can you expect?
Cons: resolution is only good for making youtube videos, and the built-in microphone is very poor and there is this wierd static noise. will have to buy secondary microphone if you want to post quality youtube videos
Overall Review: buy a microphone.
great in DX9
Pros: Works terrific in DX9. very QUIET, or at least quieter than my old X1600
Cons: DX10 performs ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I switched over from World in conflict DX9 mode to DX10 mode, with DX10 exclusive features enabled, I got a 60-75% performance drop, though im not sure if that's b/c of DX10 or the HD3870
Overall Review: right now, DX10 is a piece of junk, but for the price I got it for (didn't get it from newegg), it has an absolutely awesome price/performance ratio
good for my needs
Pros: very cheap, can run just about all video cards
Cons: LOUD, it can get really loud for being so new. at least it's not as loud as my old dell
Overall Review: if you dont plan on having dual hard drives, and dual CD drives, you cant get a high end video card, and you wont be able to run the 8800 GTX regardless
Pros: Strong, sturdy case, and compact. tool less design is pretty nice
Cons: The USB and audio cables were really tricky to install. Had to call technical support, did not come with a manual
Overall Review: If you dont have access to the internet, NEVER GET THIS CASE
