Work fine
Pros: I've purchased two of these now, and they have worked without any issue or hiccup. Print quality is fine.
Cons: None in particular.
Does not work
Pros: None. The printer responds to the cartridge with the message "Invalid Yellow"
Cons: The printer does not recognize the cartridge
Overall Review: For $15, I am writing this off as "lesson learned" - it's not worth further printer downtime to exchange this to see if another will actually work - at least not until I get an "official" cartridge and get this back online. Then perhaps I'll experiment.
Poor performance
Pros: High level of promises
Cons: Unit has poor effective range Unit's documentation is poor Unit's default IP changes depending upon mode, and is undocumented
Overall Review: The day this arrived, I spent a few hours setting it up and running it through its paces. The default IP changes when you switch from bridge to access point; it took me a while to find that out online. Once I did, and set it up, I found on at least one occasion that applying the changes I put in did not save those changes. Combine that with the pitiful included documentation, the fact that the detailed downloaded documentation did not mention the changing default IP, and my devices had difficulty picking up the AP within 20 feet of clear LOS, and I RMA'd it the next day. I could have spent much more time working with the device, but I would rather return it and pick up another product that performs better out of the box, rather than potentially waste my time attempting to polish feces.
Update
Pros: Appears to work; color is adequate for my needs
Cons: Cartridge did not change the printer message of "invalid cartridge" until the printer was power cycled. Once that was done, the printer accepted the cartridge
Overall Review: This is a correction to my earlier review. Given what I've seen so far, I would definitely purchase this again. Just make sure you power cycle the printer.
