1541L 15-Inch LCD Open-Frame Touchmonitor
Elo Touch Solutions 1541L, one of the industry's first 15-inch Open-Frame LCD Touchmonitors with an LED backlight, features a 16:9 aspect ratio, suitable for commercial, industrial, gaming and retail applications. The 1541L expands the Elo family of touch solutions for gaming and amusement, information kiosks and self-service with flexible, energy-saving features. The 1541L also has a convenient, space-saving design that makes building touch solutions easier and more flexible for OEMs and system integrators.
Like all Elo open-frame touchmonitors, the specifications and tooling are controlled to ensure a long product life, which is important in maintaining continuity for all phases of project rollouts and servicing. The 1541L features an injection-molded bezel with a virtually invisible water-resistant seal, thus making it a good choice to withstand the rigors of public use. The 1541L has a compact form factor and multiple mounting options for easy integration. It features a high quality LCD panel and worldwide agency approvals.
The 1541L is available with a choice of AccuTouch five-wire Resistive and IntelliTouch Plus surface acoustic wave touchscreen technologies.

IntelliTouch Plus Surface Acoustic Wave Multi-Touch Touch Technology
The Elo Touch Solutions IntelliTouch Plus touch technology meets all the Additional Qualification (AQ) testing requirements established by Microsoft Corp. for Windows 7 multi-touch interactivity. The IntelliTouch Plus touch technology is based upon proven surface acoustic wave technology with over 20 years of reliable performance and millions of installations around the world. It accurately records two simultaneous touch locations anywhere on the screen with three axes of touch information.Elo customers can trust they have the same reliable performance for their touchmonitors that they have come to expect with the standard IntelliTouch touch technology. IntelliTouch Plus multi-touch technology is currently available for consumer touch monitors and all-in-one touch computers as screen components in sizes ranging from 17-inch through 32-inch and will be commercially available as a 22-inch open-frame touchmonitor in late 2010. This will enable OEMs and design engineers the ability to incorporate a multi-touch technology that is both reliable and compatible with Windows 7 to heighten the user experience.

AccuTouch® Five Wire Resistive Touch Solutions
The Elo Touch Solutions AccuTouch touchscreens are based on proven five-wire resistive technology, the preferred solution for applications that demand reliability, input flexibility, and contamination resistance. AccuTouch touchscreens are available in bezel and zero-bezel designs, with proprietary Elo technology to deliver a touch response that is drift-free and accurate in high-use applications.Elo AccuTouch delivers both X and Y measurements made on a stable rear glass layer where many other resistive touchscreen designs use a flexing plastic coversheet to measure only one axis. As a result, AccuTouch resistive touchscreens provide a longer product life, designed to withstand more than 35 million touches.
AccuTouch touchscreens can be sealed against contamination to support NEMA 4/4x/12 and IP65 standards. The zero-bezel design eliminates the need for a traditional front-bezel, achieving a smooth, seamless flat surface for a clean, modern look.
AccuTouch zero-bezel touchscreens use a flexible printed circuit cable that virtually eliminates the cable attachment bump that is typical on most resistive touchscreens and enables a smooth, flat integration. The screens work with standard Elo controller/chip solutions and drivers under a wide variety of operating systems, and are available in a set of standard products as well as customized designs.
