Can this be mounted with a desktop mounting arm?

Not sure what you mean by that but I'll say this. It can be mounted with anything that is a VESA mount that is 100mm x 100mm. I have mine mounted on a swivel mount that is attached to my desk. If yours has a mount that had that measurement I would say you are good to go. So far it's been a great monitor and easy to setup. I took off the desktop stand before I mounted it. I hope I answered your question.

Question 2

Does this monitor have a camera?  I surely hope so as I have already bought it.

Sorry it does not have a camera build-in, but the monitor is very nice and bright the touch screen works extremely well with Windows 8 and 8.1 (just upgraded to 8.1). I use a Logitech C525 camera with the computer works great. The monitor is plugged into a USB 3.0 slot and has no problems. The computer is a build for my daughter. I also bought Touch Screen pen that works fine you can even easily write with it.

Will this monitor work with windows 10 core IOT?

It SHOULD, but you'll want to double check with the manufacturer to see if their drivers for the touch feature or if windows 10 built in drivers will work for it.  Any OS version later than windows 7 may experience difficulty, but there's also often workarounds.  Only the manufacturer will know for sure.

is this compatable with an HP 7-1010 PC?

The default specifications on the HP Pavillion P7-1010 shows it has windows 7. If you are using windows 7 then, yes, this monitor is compatible with your computer. In fact they had your type of computer in mind what l when designing the PXL2230MW.

Does the monitor accept audio through the HDMI input?

It does have speakers. We have not tried to play sound through these at this point. We are using these to setup computers.

Can the clear plastic base be removed in the event someone would like to wall-mount it?

Yes, you can take it off and their are four holes for mounting.

Yes it does. I have mine on a swivel mount.  If I got this correct the spacing is 100mm x 100mm. Hope this helps.
