I can't say for sure if it's compatible with *any* operating system (since there are many, many operating systems out there!) I use it with Linux and it works great.

No it is not compatable with OSX. i called view sonic for a touch driver for OSX and they said they do not have one.

Does this product have USB capable? Does it have internet access?

This monitor has a USB plug to connect to a computer for touch screen purposes and also has two 'standard' USB plugs that can be used to connect USB devices through the monitor to your computer.  The monitor does NOT have any networking (Internet) capabilities.  I.E. this is not a 'SMART' device.

It does run on a MAC as a monitor, but i think you need to install special drivers for you to be able to use the touch screen features. Since I run mine on a MAC while running windows, i don't need the drivers because windows picks it up right away and it works like a charm! I use it for my photo booth business, and it has been working great so far on a MAC running windows.

Can this monitor be used with an Apple tablet?

It will only display what's on the Apple iPad. It must be plugged into a USB port on a computer to accept any touch input. When you touch the screen it works just like pointing and clicking a mouse.
