    New Civilizations
    Nine new civilizations include Carthage, Netherlands, the Celts, and the Maya, along with their unique traits, units and buildings. Nine new leaders include William I, Prince of Orange, Boudicca, and Atilla the Hun.

    Expanded, Epic Game
    Twenty-seven new units include the Machine Gunner, 13 new buildings such as the Bomb Shelter, and 9 new Wonders including the Terracotta Army, the Great Firewall, the Hubble Space Telescope, and Neuschwanstein.

    New Scenarios
    Three new scenarios include the Empires of the Smoky Skies steampunk scenario, featuring Victorian Land Leviathans, Sky Fortresses and airships.

    Religion
    Found a Pantheon of the Gods to cultivate Great Prophets and create a religion you can customize and enhance as desired. Beliefs unlock custom buildings that only people of your religion can construct.

    Naval Combat and Espionage
    No coastal city is safe as the navy is now split into melee and ranged ship types, enhanced by the addition of the Great Admiral. Send your spies into foreign cities for surveillance and to steal advanced technologies from your competitors.
