Can I plug it into my VGA port? My computer isn't high-tech enough to have those new-fangled UBS ports.

The simple answer is no.

A VGA port is a display port. It is designed to output video, not take input.

As a mechanical designer, this product interests me for Cad Design and Parametric Modeling. Specifically with Creo(ProE), Solidworks, and Inventor. Firstly, does this product interface well with those programs, and secondly, could you possible review this product and show it in action?

This mouse works flawlessly eith cad and parameteic modeling! I do cad with inventor, and it has no problems, it even has apps on it, about the review i cannot give you one, but 5 stars out of 5, youtube has many reviews
