Will this scratch my pans?
This is a heavy-duty scouring pad designed for uncoated cookware like cast iron skillets, stainless steel pots, woks, and grills. Please DO NOT use it on non-stick (Teflon), ceramic, or coated surfaces as it is abrasive enough to remove the coating.
Can I use this to clean my BBQ grill?
Absolutely. The heavy-duty bristles cut through tough grease and carbon buildup on BBQ grills and grates, making it an excellent outdoor cleaning tool.
Does the wire mesh fall apart or shed splinters?
Soilleta scrubbers feature a tightly woven mesh structure. Unlike cheap steel wool pads, our spiral design prevents the wires from unraveling, shedding, or leaving metal splinters in your food or hands.
Is it safe to use on a seasoned cast iron skillet?
Many of our customers use it as their go-to cast iron cleaner. It’s effective at removing stuck-on food bits without stripping away your hard-earned seasoning, as long as you use light pressure. It's much easier to handle than a chainmail scrubber.
Does it get smelly like a sponge after a few uses?
Not at all. The open-mesh design allows you to rinse it clean instantly under the tap. Food particles don't get trapped inside, which keeps the scrubber hygienic and odor-free for a much longer period than traditional dense sponges.
