Question 1

I'm having trouble adjusting the height.  It will only stay at the maximum height even though I've made the recommended adjustments to the tension screw mutliple times.  How were you able to get it to hold at any other height level?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!

Fortunately in my application, my monitor was heavy enough that it was able to stay where I want it to be. I did not have to adjust the tension screw. I was skeptical at first before I mounted my monitor. I felt the spring tension was too strong for me to be able to adjust my monitor. But once I mounted my monitor, it worked like a charm. Just to let you know, my monitor is a 23.5" wide-screen Acer monitor. I do not know what size monitor your are using with it but I think if it is a smaller monitor, like a 17", the spring tension might be to strong. That is just my opinion.

I don't think screen size is necessarily the issue you should be concerned about unless you're interested in using something larger than 27". Currently, I have a 27" monitor equipped with this particular stand and swiveling, while not particularly difficult, is barely manageable.

According to the manufacturer's website, this stand functions optimally with monitors up to 16 lbs, and fits both 75x75 mm and 100x100 mm VESA-D monitor bolt hole patterns.
