No it does not. This is a gaming/editing monitor, not a screen meant for commercial or industrial use, which is where you find large touchscreens. For those, you need to look at an entirely different group of monitors in a much higher price range.

Can I power this monitor with these specs? 1080ti ftw3 and I7-8700k Display Port

I have same gpu and cpu as you.  I play my fps on my 3440x1440 screen and my flight sims on 3x2560x1440 screens. That is 7680x1440.  FE:  If I play Doom eternal at 3440x1440 I average 95-100 fps and if I play it on the triple I average 60. 
5120x1440 = 7.4 mil pixels. 4k = 8.3 mil and 3440x1440 = 4.9 mil.  With a G9 you are much closer to 4k then 3440x1440 in regards to pixel count.  Look at some 4k benchmarks in the games you like and add 5% and that will be close to what a G9 will get. This is the best answer.

Is this the newer version that has the module that was previously missing in the other ones. And if so, will it not flicker?

You will have to manually install Samsung's latest 1006.2 firmware.  Once you do that, flickering goes away completely.

Can this monitor be mounted to eliminate the stand?

The monitor does support VESA. So if you got a VESA wall mount then you should be able to wall mount it.

Question 7

This model says OS compatibility is Win10. Hard to believe a monitor would be OS-specific. I'm running win7 as I have NO desire to play MS's game. Win7 works great, and is a far superior OS in many respects. Will this model work on Win7?

It's doubtful. Also, MS no longer supports security updates for Win7. You NEED to upgrade, or get off of the Internet, dude.

I just now pre ordered one. Can I expect it to arrive before the end of October?

For reference I preordered about a month ago and the expected date shifted back 3 times. That said, the order processed based on the original estimated date that I saw when I preordered. So if you know what date was showing at the time of preorder, that's probably your best bet.

If you are looking for the best possible resolution to run on this then I would say that display port would be the cable you would want to use for this monitor.
