Cell Phone Chargers and Cables

Poor battery life is one of the drawbacks of many mobile devices. Smartphones, tablets and laptops are all prone to running out of power at the exact wrong moment, but it's not always possible to go home and connect your gadget to its charger. Fortunately, there are portable cables and AC adapters that are compatible with your car so you can keep your electronics alive.

Many smartphones connect to outlets via USB cables. There are many devices that have USB ports, so almost any device can be connected to receive a quick boost. Some models even have multiple slots so that you can simultaneously charge all of your devices rather than waiting for each one to regain power.

A wall charger could be the ideal purchase if you have a couple of gadgets and not enough outlets to plug them all in at once. Alternatively, a model that can connect with your vehicle's auxiliary jack is the best option if your devices frequently die when you're on the road.

Of course, you can't use a USB model charger if your gadget isn't compatible with that type of connection. For instance, the iPhone 5 features a much different pin than many other smartphones, and some Windows Phones have micro-USB slots instead of their normal-sized counterparts.
